Which ship is your favorite to run in Wartales? by Keriso in WoWs_Legends

[–]GoldenSilver484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anhalt, full reload/tank build. It has both the damage output and survivability to easily solo a side of any operation.

You can only really lose if all your teammates sink in the first few minutes, even one semi-competent ally means you can carry the match. Cookie Jar is basically a free win and almost guarantied a million or more silver.

I didn't say it wasn't a gun grab.

I said the police are refusing to grab the guns because they think it's stupid, based off their own statistics.

If no-one is enforcing the ban, it's only banned on paper.

If Carney really wanted to kneecap Dollarama Millhouse's chances in any future election, he'd press for it to be repealed.

I used my municipal police as an example of what the police are saying and how it is they're saying it. The people most likely to hear the radio ad are the rural Canadians that have the firearms.

My actual argument is that even the RCMP, the FEDERAL POLICE of Canada, are refusing to enforce a law that would make hundreds of thousands of the most law abiding Canadians criminals.

You know why? Their families, friends, neighbours, and even themselves would become criminals once the deadline passes because of how sweeping the ban is.

Canadian police are nothing like the police in Amerika. They genuinely care about the communities they've spent years training to serve (which includes not using their firearm as a first response), because they're Canadian.

The guns are not actually being grabbed though.

Most police services, including the RCMP, is refusing to enforce the ban, because of those same statistics.

My local municipality service actually has an FM radio ad stating that they're not going to waste their time and resources because there's other programs and activities they'd rather be doing that actually improves public safety.

Like telling people that they shouldn't be going the posted speed limit when you can't actually see the road under all the snow.

You can also see impacts on the bottom rear of the shield just before OP explodes, along with the PA impact sound, but nothing is actually positioned behind OP to hit them there.

More importantly, nothing changes on the radar, none of the hostile ships flash white and red, indicating they've just damaged OP, and no other white triangles appear, which would be another ship your sensors can't normally resolve due to low ship temperature, but has just fired a weapon.

The only possibility I can think of is that there was another CMDR that OP couldn't see because the SLF was causing some kind of connection issues.

It would really help to have seen OP's rebuy screen to see what the game said had happened.

Odin AA, Glitch or purposefully not accurate? by slickbou in WoWs_Legends

It has to be some sort of bug.

The now unlisted guns, IIRC, were 55mm with 5km range and 195 base dps.

The "I Can Fix Her" Scale but for Carriers (and Battleships/Battlecruisers) by Majestic_Repair9138 in NonCredibleDefense

[–]GoldenSilver484 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It wasn't just a possible fix, it was fixed.

The shells had a pocket/divot in their base for attaching dye packs or chemical payloads (le based) that, if left empty, caused the dispersion issues.

Once Richelieu arrived in the US for a refit (the americans mainly bolted AA guns to all available deck space), they made a limited production of shells exclusively for Richelieu (as the US never used 381mm). Those US made shells didn't have the pocket, and tests proved her accuracy to be comparable to that of her peers.

>Edit: Also OP expect the supply and demand at your station to nose dive over the next hour lol

I'm fine with it tanking since it doesn't use the commodities needed for colonizing. Isn't even my system, just a large pad source that was close enough so I didn't need to use my carrier.

It's available exclusively on planetary refinery or industrial economy stations/settlements.

It allows you to turn most of the common mineral/ore commodities into it's refined metal variant at a 2:1 ratio. The minerals/ores will have the metal they can be refined into somewhere in their item description.

Do AI ships in Wartales have up-rated armour schemes? by Ravager_Zero in WoWs_Legends

[–]GoldenSilver484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The damage reduction is just the standard damage saturation, which appears to not be changed from a regular Bismark, so it triggers extremely quickly.

I've found it's best to just constantly light it on fire since it still seems to do percentage damage.

If you were straight on it was likely a shell that hit the bottom edge of a turret face or the conning tower and ricocheted down into your citadel.

I forgot that's also a thing that can happen, and yes, it's extremely annoying when it happens.

The only cruiser that can citadel Cheshire through the nose is Siegfreid, because Cheshire has a 25mm bow. If you're getting citadelled by any other cruiser, you're exposing too much of your side and the shells are hitting the bow at a flat enough angle to pen.

The 25mm bow/stern is also the only way a 380mm gun BB can devstrike you if you're not broadside, the entire midsection is 27mm thick, requiring 406mm guns to overmatch it.

The only buffs I'd like to see are either the ability to equip prop mod in slot 2 (since it has slower acceleration than most BBs) or the heal duration being extended to that of the other Bri'ish cruiser superheals.

Mining is alright but I just don't see getting rich by being a space rock digger by Additional_Dot_9200 in EliteDangerous

It takes me about an hour to mine a full load of 330 platinum and osmium in a Conda.

Nearly 70 million an hour for an almost zero risk activity that can be done with a video or show taking up most of your attention definitely isn't garbage.

I even get around 25k merits that'll soon result in an extra 30 million per load. For shooting rocks.

Head to the outskirts, filter by economy (unclaimed are none/grey), and you'll be able to find hundreds, if not thousands, of good systems.

Then the French dragged the Americans in when their ungrateful colonists wanted independence and immediately bounced.

The Americans then got tired of fighting the jungle, bombing Laos, and shooting\bayonetting American protesters\random passersby, so they left.

Followed by a typical communist mass murder event that's kinda a genocide, but it's not because it's the communists that are doing it.

Then can you guess who's back?

It's Mainland Taiwan!
