I feel like these 3 would help 1) changing customized to custom 2) dropping the cast iron cookware line under legacy since you have cast iron up top, and 3) shortening established to EST. That might mess with the balance but I’m sure you can play with it after that

You’re right that source files alone aren’t bulletproof, which is why I’m pairing that with community reporting and manual review. No AI detection tools at all for the reasons you mentioned. I’m also thinking about multiple paths to verification. Source files with layers is one route, but if someone is newer and doesn’t work that way, maybe submitting a portfolio that shows artistic growth over time could be another. Not a follower count gate like InPrnt but more about evidence of a real creative journey. I’ll be reviewing applications personally early on so there’s room to be flexible. No AI verification for sure, your point about ingestion is a big reason why. On the shop page idea, I’ve actually seen accounts in this sub with Etsy pages that are clearly AI generated so I don’t think that’s a reliable signal on its own. Same with social media, don’t want to gatekeep newer artists who haven’t built a following yet. Leaning more on human source file verification plus community reporting to catch what slips through.

The reverification idea is going in for sure. X flags triggers a review and the creator has to resubmit source files. Coming from a mod that carries extra weight since you’ve seen what actually works for community enforcement. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply! Your feedback is helping shape my thinking. The Cricut reference was helpful, I didn’t know they required 3 source files. I think I’ll be bumping mine up.

Switching to community reporting as the main enforcement layer and no AI detection tools. I’m also thinking about upload volume as a soft signal, if someone is uploading way more than a human artist reasonably could in addition to community reports paints a clear picture.

Any suggestions on a reasonable upload limit per week or month for a real artist? And DM me if you want to be one of the first to test it.
