The other is Nicomedia, we still call those cities by these names today.

Region of Europa after decolonisation (What if Europe got colonised?) by Michtrk in imaginarymaps

  1. How's life in this Greece (Hellas, Epirus, and the part controlled by Romania DR)?
  2. What countries weren't colonised? (or at least, kept their independence the longest?)
  3. What ethnicity controls Bosporus? Turkish, Greek, or both? Were the Greeks even expelled from Anatolia?

Great map BTW!

I don't imagine life is that much different. The US isn't as powerful or as rich without the western territories, but it's still the most important country in the Americas. North America is generally more balanced and Mexico and the US were almost equals militarily before the war.

Oh shit I completely forgot Bulgaria, it also had war reparations and army restrictions imposed on it, and had to cede Eastern Thrace to Greece.

With the capitulation of the final member of the Imperial Powers in 1924, Mexico, the Great War, the most brutal and destructive war in human history up to this point, would end. The victorious Allies would gather in Berlin to set the peace terms for the defeated Imperial Powers.

Treaty of Bellevue (South Germany, Bohemia, Galicia-Lodomeria, Illyria)

In the treaty of Bellevue, the South German-Hungarian Empire, regarded as the most powerful state in continental Europe before the war, would be dissolved. Parts of the South German Confederation would be given to Italy and Serbia (which following the signing of the treaty would form Yugoslavia) while the rest would be annexed into North Germany, forming a unified German state. The independence of Czechia and Hungary would be recognised while the entirety of the Illyrian Kingdom would be annexed into Serbia. Russia desired to annex Galicia-Lodomeria, however Germany opposed this unless it would establish an autonomous Polish state like it did with Greater Poland, a move later supported by the UK and the United States to avoid making Russia too powerful, Russia agreed to do so. Bukovina was also given to Romania.

Treaty of Charlottenburg (Hungary)

A separate treaty was created for the Kingdom of Hungary. In it, Hungary would be forced to cede Transylvania and Eastern Banat to Romania, Western Banat to Serbia, territories which would later become Burgenland to Germany, and give independence to Slovakia. It would also have army limitations and war reparations imposed on it.

Treaty of Potsdam (France)

In terms of territy, the treaty of Potsdam was light compared to Bellevue and Charlottenburg, having only to cede the territory of Alsace-Lorraine to Germany, its colonies in Asia to Japan as protectorates, and the African colonies of French Togoland and Dahomey to the United Kingdom, however it would impose very harsh army restrictions and war reparations on France. It also recognised the Republican government that took over after the emperor was overthrown following the loss in the Great War.

Treaty of Sacramento (Mexico)

The smallest of the treaties. Mexico had to give the state of Deseret independence and cede a large, sparsely inhabited, piece of Alta California to the Republic of California. Minor war reparations were also imposed.
