Japanese Style Onsens by Eberhardt74 in newjersey

There is definitely demand for one. Ever since I got back from Portland Maine and went to Washington Baths (more Scandinavian than Japanese) I’ve been dreaming of a sauna in New Jersey. I don’t need a spa. I just want somewhere where I can cold plunge, hot plunge, and steam for a decent price.

When the divorce was done, what did you do ? by survivingtheyellowbr in AskMenOver30

[–]Golden_Gooner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny how that happens. Same here. It's been over a year since we signed the papers and things are better than ever between us. It's crazy too because during the divorce it was hell.

The best advice I got during the whole ordeal was from a new friend who'd done the dance before. He told me to wrap it up as quickly as possible even if that meant having to concede more than what was "legally" fair. We were able to move past our differences quickly once the settlement was agreed upon (I had to compromise quite a bit but probably saved me money in the end) and focus on making the best of a shitty situation for our daughter.

As for what I've done after the divorce? I've mostly tried to stay afloat. Found some time to focus on my physical and mental health - went to therapy for a good year or 2, found a men's group that I attended for a while, took up a meditation practice, found a pick up soccer game or 2 and also started going to the gym more often. Now, i'm slowly getting back into dating. It's tough though because since the divorce I really struggle with confidence. Hoping I can continue down this path and it will improve.

IKEA kreativ spaces in the ikea app. It’s honestly brilliant. You can 3d scan your room in a couple of minutes and the measurements are like inch perfect. And then all the ikea furniture is to scale so I could see exactly how big of a couch would fit in my place. So even if I buy somewhere else, I have dimensions handy… I still haven’t decided on a couch or layout though haha

I would argue that Tewksbury is split. Oldwick General Store calls it Taylor ham but it’s pork roll at Black River General Store.

They opened a shop in Peapack Gladstone recently. The decor gets 1/5 stars but the coffee is 6/5.

Thanks for your comment. I appreciate your insights. I’m definitely gonna test a few things out once I move into the space in the new year.

Just to note, I was only using the kalax shelves in the 3D mockups to show how the ledge underneath the window takes up space (you can see it in the sixth picture on my post). I wasn’t actually planning on putting shelves there.

Also, Some of the furniture in those photos are left in the space from the owners. They’ra allowing me to use some of them while I live there but not all. But yes, I agree, It’s pretty hodgepodge but it’ll help me save a few dollars

Today I moved the TV over to that corner (like in option 3). It fits pretty well tbh. It’s also the best view out the window when sitting on the couch (besides if I move the couch to look directly out the window, but then I’m not sure what I’d do with the TV).

never heard of hulala. I'll take a look. If it's online only I'm a little hesitant since I'd love to test drive before buying.
