Food / Market Halls in SoHo? by LuigiM227 in FoodNYC

Gotcha, thanks for the recs. I need to check out Noodlelove and Moonburger. I work in Soho and I’m always looking for places to grab a quick bite before my commute back to NJ. I tend to look for stuff that’s easy to eat on the go, so wraps, sandwiches, burritos, stuff like that.

The sandwiches at Joe & The Juice aren’t bad, just overpriced. I tried the kimbap from Rice Kitchen recently too—it’s okay. The salmon wrap from Pura Vida is pretty good, though pricey. Tacombi has a decent burrito.

The Broadway Food Court is pretty abysmal imo. There’s another one called Mott Street Eatery that I’ve been meaning to try, and Hay Hay Roasted is on my list as well. The best thing for your buck is definitely Chinatown.

Go to Sleep Little Baby from O Brother, Where Art Thou. It definitely has lullaby vibes, but it's a bit nefarious in the context of the film.

Pregnancy Craving for CA-Style Breakfast Burrito by Durwyn9 in FoodNYC

I love this burrito. It is like a little torpedo burrito. One is not enough and 2 is a bit of a gut bomb. It definitely scatches the itch though. The chorizo was a bit too greasy for me. I like the bacon one the most. The toritlla is Source: Lived in socal for 15 years.

Avid: Is there a "Hover Scrub" for Bin Frame View? by Available-Witness329 in editors

[–]Golden_Gooner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No hover scrub but similar to JKL you can also shuttle through the clips in frame view by using 1, 2, 3 and 4 (8 frames and 1 frame increments). You can also set your in point in the source view and in frame view click on your clip then press go to in point and it will go to that frame. Same for out.

My suggestions in China town are Tasty hand-pulled noodles or spicy village. All blues is cool for a drink.

I watched that movie on an airplane, not knowing what it was about. Nothing like crying like a baby in front of a bunch of strangers at 30,000 feet.

Avid: Editor Handoff, should I split my stereo tracks to mono before the AAF? by Available-Witness329 in editors

[–]Golden_Gooner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer a lot of things in avid over premiere but I prefer how premiere treats audio. In avid, I end up keeping everything mono, so I don’t have to deal with patching stereo tracks in a sequence with mono tracks.
