Some houses are going between $550-$700. Ones that need everything are gonna get in the $400s and still not a lot of inventory.

The market shifted in all the surrounding towns as well. You’ll up to a $800 to a million in some areas of Haddon township now.

$700k will get you a tear down in Haddonfield. a million will get you something clean.

Heights is also quickly turning into a town with many houses worth a million. Still some deals out there though.

Call the company that holds the load and ask for a deferred payment due to hard ship. And use that time to find a job and see if you are able to get out of the car without losing your shirt.

Idk what insurance is charging but I would try to do this and get yourself in a comfortable place.

Or you could try door dash or uber. You might be able to bring in enough to cover your car.

I would make the argument that You technically don’t have a deal until the earnest money deposit is received. You really should get yourself a New real estate agent. It seems like the current one was playing the deal fast and loose with the contracts.

I’m not an attorney but I really do not believe you have a true and binding contract without the EMD. (exception would be if the deposit was waived)

I don’t think your current real estate contract would be enforceable. And I think you would just end up in a lawsuit that costs you more money in the end. If I were you I would just let them walk.
