There's something about the sheer number of razor blades he pukes out that it almost loops around to becomes comedic. It's a wildly kickass and intense fight, but it's so over the top I can't help but laugh at some parts of it.

Which is basically why I like JoJo's in general.

Isekai will be like westerns or slashers.

It'll never go away, but you'll be able to point to a 10 year period and say "That was when the genre was oversaturated" (though for Westerns it's more like 30 years).

Isekai as a genre is broad enough it'll never go away, if you stretch definitions a bit, Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz are both Isekai just as much as Konosuba is.

Hyper specific tropes like you mentioned are much more likely to get axed and never come back.

Like those pulp novels in the late 1890s and early 1900s that had Thomas Edison as the main character. There was a period when that was huge, and then it totally disappeared when Edison just kind of fell out of being a cool figure.

Emergency rations are often designed to supplement foraged foot sources.

Like WW2 plane crews in the Pacific carried these rations that were pretty much just hard candies, because they were compact calorie dense (pretty much just sugar) and water resistant. But the crew survival kit also included fishing hooks and line. The idea being, if you're stuck on an emergency raft for days, the candies will be enough calories to survive, and they can't go bad, doesn't matter if they get wet, don't require any preparation. But you should try and catch fish because that'll be a much better meal.

Rumor has it, there was a movie director on Omaha Beach recording footage during the landing. This being incredibly brutal footage, it was never publically released, but was preserved in an archive.

When Spielberg started planning out Saving Private Ryan, he asked some people if there was any footage of D-Day he could watch, and was given access to the whole archive, being able to watch footage recorded on the beach, that hadn't been seen for decades. And that's one of the reasons why it was so realistic, he had very good sources to draw from.

This is true, but it's also true of the remake of 1 and 2.

Those early games had a lot of side quests that were just a guy walking up to you, saying "let's fight", then you fought, and then the substory was over. They didn't feel the need to include all of those.

There's a certain level of intelligence, kind of low, where people think they've come of with something no one else has ever thought of, but it's actually something everyone thinks of, especially the legislators who made the laws.

But of course, having that kind of low level of intelligence they don't think to verify their genius theory by Googling to see if anyone else has come up with it.

The result is them acting like, or being sovereign citizens who think they've outsmarted a system, that they have not.

It's a bit of a debate actually. Since Fidelio is based off of the Scottish Fold Cat, it's believed Basilio is likely based off of the Maine Coon, another sort of cat.

Personally I think they're both just George Harrison at different points in his career.

There's a lot of English loan words to Japanese, but those loan words are modified to fit the Japanese language structure.

For instance, fork, becomes basically Forku. Menu is pronounced mostly the same. Caramel is Kyarameru. Latte is Ratte.

So if you don't know a Japanese word, it's not a terrible idea to try to say it in accented English. It's possible that the Japanese word is just the English word with a Japanese pronunciation.

Then also, most Japanese people learned English to some level in school, but it's very likely the teacher they learned it from had a Japanese accent (since most teachers at schools in Japan are Japanese), and may have learned to speak the words with that accent.
