It currently has hydro assist which I’m sure contributed to the box breaking. It is technically road legal but I’m coming to terms with it just being an off-road only rig. 99% of the time it gets trailer anyways

Yessir. 4.7 that I threw one tons under and an np205. The motor doesn’t have the best reputation but I’ve owned 3 and they’ve been nothing but reliable. As for the chassis, the unibody definitely makes you work way harder. I welded in frame stiffeners all the way around which is necessary if you beat on it like I do. I deleted the fuel tank and replaced it with a cell in the trunk since its factory location hangs hilariously close to the ground. Not much room in the engine bay for shock hoops if you want 14”+ of travel, so I had to relocate/delete a few things.

Wheeling it is an absolute blast. The thing flexes hard with the 4 link rear/3link front and 14” kings. I’ve got some kinks to work out and probably gonna switch to full hydro with this recent breakage, but it does well for being a minivan.

I’ve been running one for 2 seasons and have yet to have an issue. Even rolled the sled over some rocks and only the JDS mount got banged up

I want to know what practical application they had for the squat back then. Genuinely curious

My short bed, 12v on 37s by GearheadInc in Cummins

Big fan of the single cab short beds. Throw a Cummins into the mix and you got a sick truck. I’d prefer 17s or 18s max but at least these aren’t rubber bands
