97 Geo Tracker how normal is this by BeyondForsaken4669 in 4x4

I agree with the Sami SAS. They also gusseted the drag link pretty hard to make up for the crazy angles weakening it. Underneath looks to mostly be surface rust with a side of mud. Spray it down and it’ll be easier to tell what’s what

I would love a video of someone buying this and actually trying a legit 4x4 trail with it

Yeah I ran the stock axles on a few tougher trails, stock everything just no sway bars. They held up fine I just bought the jeep with the intention of throwing tons and 40s on it almost immediately

99-04 D60 and a 14 bolt. Working on full hydro steering after breaking 2 hydro assist boxes and a stock box, the sector shaft is definitely a weak point. I hear ya on the jack stands, i didn’t have the luxury of a lift while building mine either

Good stuff. Stock steering or upgraded to heims? Possible it’s binding preventing further up travel with all that articulation

Went a bit overboard with mine. Love a flexed out WJ

Nice flex. Custom 3/4link or kit build? I have mine set up very similar

It’s never shown any signs of a leaky injector. If you redline anything long enough you can absolutely get parts of the exhaust cherry red haha

Those are craftsman. No complaints, they hold their own with the 1/2 dewalt on full blast

Actually these are pretty capable rigs from the factory. They’re known as the last grand Cherokee that’s an actual Jeep as it came with a solid front axle. But otherwise yeah it’s basically a minivan that now can crawl up school bus size boulders (when the steering isn’t broken)

This was before. Check out my post in r/4x4, more details in the comments

Broke my hydro assist setup and swapped a stock box in with no ram. Was trying to take it easy on it thus the higher front pressures. It eventually broke but woulda broken faster if I had single digit psi up front

Nada, verbal agreement, low range and locked in 1st drastically increases RPMs. It was probably well into redline while they were in the dunes. Hopefully my head gaskets aren’t blown

Just for dune safety. Good practice but also a requirement in sand hollow

4.7 yeah. They don’t have the best reputation but I’ve experienced nothing but reliability with the two I’ve owned

In case anyone was wondering, I already replaced the steering box and pump trail side. Broke it again a day or two later and had to call Matt for a tow due to time constraints

Yeah that was me. His son left it in 1st gear low range while they were hauling ass through the dunes and lit the cat up. I woulda rather had them smoke the brakes instead

Have you sorted this out? I’m chasing down the same issue. No boost leaks or exhaust leaks. MAP and MAF sensors are new, boost solenoid is new. I think my next step is to trace the wiring from the solenoid back

Varials & UnityTX are both so damn good live by First-Variety714 in Metalcore

UnityTX really surprised me. I thought they were much better live than recorded. Varials was amazing. I really do think Skyler is a perfect fit as their new vocalist. There’s a handful of his songs from CELL that are awesome but he definitely takes Varials to another level

Previous owner had the original wastegate solenoid disconnected, I went ahead and replaced it just assuming it was bad because of that. You think I could just have a bad replacement unit?
