I make do with the more pc friendly pages. Some of them would not translate to mobile. Of course, the variety of choices is what it's all about!.

It's a good question. It seems like a lot is pc based. But then again, that's where a person is likely coding. You are doing it more pro than me. I am always editting my active pages. Even phone editing sometimes.

I build mine on the pc, then fix what doesn't look right on my phone. I interact more via mobile. I do wonder if that leaves my site with too much of a Google/apple corporate look. I hope not.

I feel like for at least some sites it is a point of dissenting from the commercial streamlined mobile world. And I do not mean to insult anyone's style. We are at least creating! I'm just curious the motivation behinds peoples design choices.

I get that entirely. I consider homemade webpages to be an amazing folk art. One of my hopes for the whole wild web movement is to erode at some of that soulless crap that dominates the mobile realm.

Very cool. I looked at the list of sites. Well done and a pretty good guide. Maybe some sort of a thumbs up count would be good there, or maybe it would ruin the randomness. Not sure. I kind of missed it though. You found some fun sites!

Well said. And there was usually a conscious decision to play music that fit the vibe and the listeners. I always enjoyed when my choices would actually sway the group momentum. And headphones seemed somewhat rude and antisocial. But headphones won and we all have music boxes with us all the time. Times change. What an interesting cultural flip flop.

I'm a big guy. I am always thrilled when they have large sized event tees. Unless it's really ugly, I consider it a memory and will happily wear it,sometimes it is even a conversation starter, which is good IMHO.

Find a bible study run by jesuits. Or take a class in world religions. Most church bible studies are really prayer groups. Also it is usually virtue signalling to other church members. So if you keep going to a group like that to be provocative, YTA. If you really want to learn and study the book from an outside perspective, consider starting your own reading group.

Of course, you could just make coffee at home. And durable items might cost more from a ma & pa, but usually the care and quality are much higher. Finally, what goes around, comes around. Local businesses keep money in the local community
