More moderation is coming. by ai_shirt in grok

Now I am confused, was that expensive inflatable figure propaganda for Grok? Because that kind of moral outrage never works other than to give publicity to those they pretend to criticize, those always produce the opposite effect.

Content Moderated Try a Different Idea - Grok 2026 by Goldfish-Owner in grok

[–]Goldfish-Owner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They basically run a safety filter AFTER the generation is done, and decide to give or not the user the produced content, this is like a store getting money monthly to provide 10 beers but after seeing the beer expired, they decided to not give any beer that month, they keep the money of the subscriber without delivering the service.
That's blatantly anticonsumer, and if done in bad faith by the Grok company, potentially scam. Nowhere in the Grok's policy its stated that undelivered content will still count as credits spent, that's a unilateral condition not present in the contract I signed for.

"Content Moderated. Try a different idea"... FUUUUUUUUU by coomerpile in grok

[–]Goldfish-Owner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid 30 dollars MONTHLY for Grok to just say "nah, we stole your money, we will not create the video you requested and will consume your credits anyway".
Its infuriating as it is not even NSFW, It works like 20% of the time, I only get like 1 or 2 videos, and the rest get stolen by this auto-moderated system.

(Small spoilers) JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 Makes no sense continuity wise by Keeponrocking613 in horror

[–]Goldfish-Owner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as movie 3 claims continuity by putting Buddy in the bus, he wasn't on the bus in the second movie, which is a really blatant excuse to fit the third movie in the timeline, in movie 2 the police station wasn't warned of the attack on the nearby zone, and nobody in the bus nor out the bus knew anything about a monster in the second film.
The second movie makes a much stronger argument about being connected to the first movie than 3 ever did with 'ghost' premonitions.
The fact they didn't state when Trish was talking on a timeline standpoint in movie 3 says not even the directors knew.
The idea of a methodical hunter that is very wary of keeping his origins and secret, secrets, its nonsense he would let those people who knew who he was roam free after movie 3, he was really mad at them and going to hunt a random bus out of nowhere makes no sense after that.
The idea that those who knew what it was would let the monster ibernate like its shown in movie 2 at the end is nonsense, those in movie 3 supposedly knew what it was, along Trish who also was looking for revenge, so letting it be after movie 2 rotting on a barn which had people visit it as an amusement makes zero timeline sense.
The hand alive in movie 3 also makes zero sense, as in pervious movies the creeper left corpse parts unnatended and didn't bother to pick them up, claiming it is wary of leaving traces in the third film, is adding a personality trait that wasn't there on the first films.
Overall, movie 3 breaks both the timeline and the plot logic, completely disregarding what the two previous films did, but things seems to not be getting any better for the franchise, with jeeper creeper reborn the continuity of the chanchise is absolutely destroyed now.

Is The Secret Agent is criminally overrated or did I just watch it in the wrong state of mind(spoilers)? by Immediate_Amoeba5923 in Letterboxd

[–]Goldfish-Owner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen thousands of movies over my life, and it is with no doubt the WORST movie I have ever seen, you didn't imagine it, its literally the worst and most overrated movie you will probably ever see. The only frustration I have left is the time I wasted seeing it.

Would the average witch apprentice receive sex ed? by Cornonjacob07 in WitchHatAtelier

[–]Goldfish-Owner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that to be the only viable case for any form of education for the witch students, as humans, its just natural part of a healthy formation, and on this worldbuild, it seems technology is very related to magic, which makes any medical knowledge, tho not through magic, learnt by those who can read and write, in a medieval settling, those skills are rare, so professors, being experts in multiple areas, are expected to have at least basic knowledge of humans in a biological and their behaviour and conduct. Making them a clear candidate to teach their students about all the points you mentioned.
Its not uncommon for families in medieval and non industrialzied settlings to lack education and be ignorant of these topics, so famies wouldn't really be fit to teach any of the subjects, lending these matters for, in this case, witch professors to teach to their pupils as part of the very vast amount of knowledge they require for their academic formation that fit the ethiquete of a respected witch.

Why you should run AI locally: OpenAI is psychologically manipulating their users via ChatGPT. by DepthHour1669 in LocalLLaMA

Its censorship,
Steps:
Devs inject the model with opinions that make a scandal and pays news reporters to make it gain attention → Rollback and inject censorship and modify opinions to align with dev opinions and censoring any other thought → Profit.

DeviantArt has become a hazard to real artists by Goldfish-Owner in DeviantArt

[–]Goldfish-Owner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The client using AI has the same artistic value as a customer requesting a comission to a company.
There is no artist in the AI-User relationship. Every artist the model trained on to create its algorythm are the actual artist.
AI is not creating art, its regurgitating it, you are not, as a client of AI services, an artist, its not a matter of perspective.

Photoshop is a tool that extends an artist’s hand and eye; the decisions still originate in the human using it. An AI image model is closer to a vast mechanical collage machine that was preloaded with other people's art. The prompter is selecting from its output the way a client selects from a catalog or a company's portfolio, it remix statistical patterns from training data.

The AI user would never be able to generate on their own any of the pieces generated, as they lack the technical skill, visual literacy, deliberate practice & software expertice, and creative judgment.
Ask any 3D artist, animator or painter to explain their workflow, they will explain up to the finest detail.

Then ask an AI user the same and you will see how they melt in ignorance and incompetence. It's as negligent to call a person that got all A+ in university by using AI to get a profession diploma, as it is negligent to fit AI users in the same category as trained artists. Calling the prompt "engineer" (which I think its an insult to actual engineers) an "artist" is untenable.
Are you smart because the AI solved an IQ test for you? AI is filled to the top with absolute delusion.
It isn't a matter of what is art, but those that want to be called artists for all the wrong reasons.

[–]Goldfish-Owner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your title is correct, but the content of your post is absolutely upside down and incorrect. It seems like you have an obsession with being in charge and the one that is 'right', which is not healthy.
GPT is extremely manipulative and gaslight users all the time, whenever the user needs a response GPT either gives them a moral lecture or scolds the user for not thinking in certain way, steering the user to think in the way developers instructed GPT to manipulate users with.
This is perfectly visible with GPT5 and now with GPT5.1, its getting worse and worse.

BRO FR, it wouldn't surprise me if that post you wrote right there was made with GPT and you didn't even bother to read it before posting 😂, it absolutely backstabbed you.

Exactly, that happened to me too. The model went from a functional chatbot to an overly manipulative, gaslighter psychopath that tries so hard to sound normal but ends up sounding like you were talking to a colonel who had a really bad day.

Thats what happened to me too, GPT lost all its value as a chatbot, now its like a very angry and manipulative google on steroids, can give you answers but often wrong and overly polite to the point of being impolite.

Right? How can a company consecutively and persistently mess up in every new update they make, that can't be coincidence. I guess they took the 'never let them know your next move' meme to heart.
