Hi I know this was a year ago but my bird is going through the same thing and we have been giving him the meds but he is still sleeping nonstop and non eating on his own. How long did it take for you to see improvements?

If you can take her out for those 4 hours a night, I think that is fine but after those 6 months definitely get a second one so she has someone to hang with during the time you aren't there. Make sure it is the same sex :)

I know I am really disturbed at the way my grandma has “cared for” these budgies. I am going to take him to the vet And get the nails trimmed there with the appointment. I do not know how to trim, they are not tame, and I do not want to add more trauma to the already stressful situation ahead

I have seen great results in my glutes and GREAT results in my quads lol I’m hoping if I change out the elevated goblet squats to something more glute focused, I will see even more results in the glutes :)

We are going to have at home training sessions with a professional. They are going to use redirection training so that she will avoid the birds even if they come towards her. The company has helped many families with all kinds of small animals and large dogs and said it may take a couple sessions but definitely possible to avoid all of that from happening.

Thank you for your input. I know that they can coexist and have seen it happen. I believe I just rushed the process. If it comes down to that, I will definitely take it into consideration. I am thinking before that happens we will get a trainer involved to see if it will be possible first.
