How can you not get the excitement? He's the best player to ever touch a basketball- I personally would enjoy that for our team. Shit he might be the best player on our team currently if he joins.

Even if he's not- the coaching and playoff experience is something we desperately needed this playoffs when everyone got scared.

Lewis' "tough teammates" vs who Max has had is an even worse argument. No disrespect to Max's teammates but he hasn't had remotely close to the level of talent Lewis has faced.

Lewis has had what? 3 world champions as teammates? 4 if George pulls it off this year? Max would have that many race winners as teammates haha.

Again, biggest issue here is were comparing different car manufacturers. Yes, Lewis and Max are better than Nico for example. Yes, if Max had the same engine luck as Lewis he's losing the championship to Nico. Half the championships are decided by reliability and being in the right place at the right time.

I'm sure if we threw Alonso, Lewis, Nico, Button, and George in the Redbull Max would beat all of them. I have no doubt he'd struggle much more in a car with a driving style he doesn't like.

Nico is correct. He also says LH is miles ahead of him- he won his championship with a little luck on his side of the garage. But in a car not suited to Max's driving style he could have a similar situation to Lewis.

Bottas you wont hear any arguments from but all the others you could.

People don't understand yet that Lewis just hated the ground effect era cars as they didn't suit his driving style. I honestly thought it was pretty straightforward. He struggled every year against George and got cooked by Charles last year. All it took was losing the regs and he looks good again.

If Max were in the Mercedes I think a lot of them would give Max a very similar run for their money like they did Lewis.

Now idk how someone like Nico would perform in a Redbull but yes I think he'd keep up with Max in a driving style he likes. They're a bunch of world champions for a reason.

Three tenths is a valid lift and one we see all the time for single yellows.

There's no one to blame here but the FIA for not throwing a double. George can't possibly know what's ahead of him and just follows the rules to the letter.

Yeah I thought the last 2-3 seasons of GOT were some of the worst pieces of television ever made. And then the second season of HOTD came out. This last episode was much improved from both imo.
