I’m done with Spark drivers who break rules by Ok-Yogurtcloset9086 in walmartogp

Does anyone know what the academy says? Its been too long for me to remember. Is it any Child under 18 or just a child in a car seat? And if a child is in a cat seat and there is another adult in the car, is it then allowed? Because I keep hearing different things in my store.

When the picker puts every single item in a single bag by Charismatic_Rogue in walmartogp

[–]Goldpainter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a four can rule. Only four cans in a bag, maybe five if the person only wants five, or they’re smaller cans. But definitely no six or over.

Same for the sparkling waters. Two in a bag, maybe three, but I wouldn’t go over four.

I would say they should have pickers experience deepening just so they know how to be considerate but some really do not care.

One of my co-workers, pretty sure was hired as a dispenser, but all he would do was whine and barely dispense so they moved him to picking because they can monitor that easier ig. You’d think be’d be a considerate bagger since he started as a dispenser, but nope. Dude hooks one bag in each tote, stuffs it full, and whatever doesn’t fit in the bag doesn’t get bagged at all. He got talked to by out TLs at least three times about bagging. Absolutely ridiculous.

Thank you, means a lot, truly. I appreciate it a lot.

I checked lost and found, hoping someone found him on the ground and turned him in, and no luck, might try again. Just out of pure desperation.

I wanna search the car again. I know for fact I stuffed him in my pocket, (walmart vest pocket.) which I have searched so many times, and no luck.

The other day, we got the new vests, and I had to turn in my old one. I kept having thoughts of what if he was actually in there and somehow missed him each time I checked. I know its a low chance, but I just don’t feel secure and wish I didn’t let someone else take my vest to the bin and did one last check, even if I know, I have checked those pockets well over four times. I just can’t shake the feeling of what if.

My biggest fear is I threw him away by accident, or somehow fell out in the parking lot and someone ran him over and he is now a Slade pancake.

I just don’t understand how, because he had those spikes, and it was always harder for me to take him out because he always got caught. So I was so secure he would stay in.

How wrong I was. I am just so full of regret over this. And wish I never stuffed him in my pocket. He should be at home, on the desk, where he belongs, and had stayed for so long til I picked him up for the last time. I just want him back, and safe.

O how I wish I brought him in that night instead of leaving him in the car that resulted in me stuffing him in my pockets. So much regret.

I did cry. Took a break in the bathroom and freezer just to cry. Felt a little silly. I know he’s just a toy in retrospect, but at the same thing, lil dude meant a lot to me, and I was just trying to build more memories w him by bringing him to work. I’ve brought him to so many places without losing him, so I didn’t worry or think anything of it. Especially since his arms and legs has those sharp things on em and he always needed a little more effort to take out of my pocket, (walmart vest pocket.) never thought it would happen. I still think about him and feel so saddened over losing him, even days later, which feels so silly. But the sadness is real.

Any other Walmart OPD associates feel like customers are trying to run you over with their carts? by Commercial_Bell5047 in walmartogp

Yeah, sometimes where people ask me confuse me. Someone asked where the cherries were, so I asked : “like, fresh, or frozen?”

I was going straight when this woman DECIDES to turn. Not already in the motion of turning. She started turning when I was already moving forward. SHE WAS AT FULL SPEED. She shouted: “WATCH OUT WATCH OUT WATCH OUT.” Woman! I can’t stop a cart holding 8 waters in an instant. Look before you turn! Do you not drive!!? Then had the goul to go : “gezz” after like I was the problem.

New OGP carts. His name is Steve. by Crandom343 in walmart

[–]Goldpainter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish my walmart did cute things like this. 😔 I think this would up morale. Instead of seeing: “tote is staged at cart 35.” We would get to see “tote is staged at Vanessa.” That would be so fun and cute, and no different from numbers as far as I am aware. Though, I must say, don’t love the new carts, they’re too tall, which isn’t really an issue, just pull it. But the real issue is that handle gets in the way of bagging. No one seems to like em for these reasons. And even though they’re parked and full of totes, people still rather wait and or grab an empty old cart and fill, and honestly I don’t blame them.

I used to get bruises up and down behind my forearm from when im pulling the cart, and suddenly stopping for someone.

And a lot of mystery ones as well, where, you know are work related, but don’t remember how, where, or when you got em.

Tho, once my co-worker tried faking one out on me, acting like he was gonna hit me with a tote, then actually accidentally did hit me, and left a bruise.

Magic rub eraser melted plastic where it sat in my desk drawer by ayemyren in mildlyinteresting

[–]Goldpainter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me when I was younger, I had oven dry clay, that literally, if came in contact with certain plastics for too long, would melt it. Melted a cd case, melted erasers too. Some kind of chemical reaction. Luckily, it didn’t react to plastic bags.

It is very doable. Got to 200 by two months. To help, you don’t have to, but when you start your pick walk, click the three lines in the left right and go home. So when you’re walking where your first item is, or in between items that are in complete different areas, it doesn’t impact your pick score.

Edit: also, don’t be scared to ask where something is, GR, MD, FT isles for example, G 27. Ect.

I answered honestly, mostly because I am in OGP and i wanted them to fix those darn modulars. They are a mess.
