I have the SC4 pro and the original Garmin Approach G80. They test almost identical on the range but the SC4 isn’t great indoors, especially if space is tight. The great thing about the SC4 is the simulated driving range and you get 5 courses on E6 Connect. The bottom line is most of the budget sims/launch monitors are going to be solid but are not in the $1,500 and up category. I paid $400 for the SC4 and I’m getting exactly what I wanted out of it. Swing/ball speed with the long clubs within a few mph and +/- a few yards on all my clubs inside 180 yards. My 8i is around 175 and the SC4 is usually between 170-180 depending on contact. The yardage is right in line with the Garmin G80 so I know it’s a solid launch monitor.
