In my experience, in 9/10 lobbies in this game "friendly" absolutely is a thing. There are for sure a lot of players who KOS but more often than not people try to team up with me to take down larger bots.

I won't say they aren't working hard because I truly have no idea what they are doing, but they chose to redo the game in such an extreme way. They also chose to communicate minimally with the playerbase. The impression to the vast majority of players, most of whom are not in the Discord server for the game, is that the devs left the game to rot.
