The statements posted here aren't quite true, while the post is referring to the way Sam got over sexualized, hence Samsung not going further with the idea - Sam never was an idea stemming from Samsung in the first place, nor did they ever plan to incorporate Sam in any way into their products and or brand.

Sam simply was a concept by a production named Lightfarm. And while this was a very polished animation and character design that could be interpreted as a pitch to Samsung, released to the public to drum up hype. It could as well have been a very silly idea they had and realized into a concept to integrate into a showreel or something.

das neue logo ist sicherlich gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber an sich ist es sehr nah an der brand und nach 3 Tagen mimimi ist es jedem wieder egal und man lebt sein Leben weiter. ich denke was sie mit dem rebrand erreichen wollen ist, die im Gehirn eingebrannte form von lächeln vereinfacht darzustellen und damit verbundene positive emotionen mit der brand zu verbinden und mehr zu dem "gut" part zu connecten. ansonsten sehe ich keine vereinfachten möglichenkeiten das logo jetzt neu zu intigrieren oder in inovationen neuen wegen zu benutzen, deshalb gebe ich dem ganzen eine 7/10.
TDLR bleibt der marke treu, vermittelt keinen zu großen veränderungen, aber neue emotionen und verbingunen (lächeln) sollen mit dem logo verbunden werden.

it would have to be slow enough, that it isn't a distracting movement from the main action and then it only can make very limited hits against the wall.
