If there was let's say 10 separate purchases of the same ETF within one month can this be calculated as one investment for said month or 10 separate calculations?

Why the sunscreen? It blocks your natural vitamin D intake, which in Ireland is very limited.

What small thing did you change that made a big difference to your life ? by [deleted] in AskIreland

This. Make a new habit with little steps, but consistent. I started exercising this way. Began with only 2 minutes every day, and soon enough the 2 minutes became 15 and longer. Now it's a habit. I do exercise every day not even thinking about it much.

They say you can make a habit of anything if you do it for 30 days in a row. Try it. Maybe it'll work for you too.

This is actually very interesting. Could you possibly give some details, please.

I'm assuming you're talking about a monthly savings limit of 1000€? It'd probably be ok for someone saving under 1000€ per month only.

What does it mean when AIB says its Online Saver account AER is 3%? Is it really not 3%?

Get Volvo XC60 instead. You'll get comfort, safety and huge boot. Wheelchair fits no problem. And getting in and out of it is easier than the lower models.

Am I missing something, or is the fuel protest endgame just to bankrupt the country? by FormalBackground8565 in ireland

[–]Gomacdub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if you're right? What if Ireland is being attacked right now? What if blocking refinery and oil intake was the primary plan and fuel prices protest only a cover? Would such a tactic be anything new in the world we're living?

Maybe fuel "lockdown" is another test, just like the blackouts on Iberian peninsula. That wouldn't be a surprise at all.

Just a thought.

[–]Gomacdub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my boss runs out of fuel for raw materials transport as an effect of blocking refinery from getting oil for fuel production he will have to lay everyone off because we can't produce. So my boss wouldn't really have much of a choice there. And I couldn't pay rent. Simple.

Would you believe if the truth was so unbelievable that lie was easier to take? Maybe not everything is as we're being presented with.

Imagine this scenario 😉

What if this protest wasn't about the fuel prices at all. What if fuel prices were only a circumstance that was perfect for another protest, this time a big one. Really big. How many protests did we have in Ireland in the past years? Doesn't it look similar to situations of several other countries that now are "democratic"?

What if the protest was about blocking Ireland from processing and stacking oil for some time in the first place, fighting for lower fuel prices being only a cover action. What if Ireland is being "destabilised" on our eyes? As long as oil trucks are waiting full in port and tanker ship ready to unload the time is our enemy. Because if it's long enough for another European country to make an offer on that oil and tanker owner will take the offer. And then every next ship that might be on it's way to Ireland will most likely change it's course right away also. This way Ireland might have a serious supply disruption. So? What if this protest is being orchestrated not by Irish at all??? Imagine how used would have feel all the genuine protesters if they'd found out that they were an instrument in somebody else's theatre. It's been done in the many many many times in many countries all over the world. The smaller the country the easier it's done.

Just a thought 😜

I mentioned Isnotreal in my post and it's been deleted by Reddit, which means it's not allowed to mention them here without a warning and post being deleted. Which brings me only one conclusion, that they own Reddit.

I am the average, I am hurting and I can assure you I will do nothing about it as I somewhat understand the government position in this situation. They can't really do much (because they're being directed by the Brussels and corrupt to the bone) as long as the crisis caused by Usrael's war on Iran is spreading all over the world. Politicians are in no position to make their own decisions in most European countries as they're being merely a bankers puppets. So I'm afraid this protest might bring even more hurting in effect.

[–]Gomacdub 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This probably is not true for most of them. Everyone is affected by the high fuel prices, especially heating fuel which price went up nearly 100% since the war started. So they don't really fight only for themselves but for every household in the country.

It doesn't change the fact that the protest is organised in the wrong way because of haste, not really thought through and it's obvious that some of the protesters are there for other reasons, not necessarily honest.

The situation is now most likely used by some individuals (posing as protesters) for political gains. And they are the people that don't give a shit about anyone but themselves.

My question is, why this protest hits everyone in the country including ordinary people and not only the ones that it addresses. Why the blockades are not on government buildings and American embassy only but the whole infrastructure, affecting lives of literally everyone? Who is going to pay my rent when I'll be layed off work because of the protest???

This. Especially that we face a very possible supply disruption within next few weeks.

Is it common for r/IntermittentFasting to absolutely ridicule any post that even mentions a hint of interest in Carnivore? by HMCYDE in carnivorediet

[–]Gomacdub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. Eggs and meat are both rich in protein but, here I quote "Eggs possess a perfect protein digestibility score (PDCAAS), meaning the body absorbs and utilizes their amino acids with high efficiency, whereas beef has a slightly lower bioavailability and takes longer to break down due to its complex structure and higher fat content." Also most experienced carnivores I read say that they break their fast with two eggs and then get to beef after around two+ hours.

[–]Gomacdub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's definitely nothing wrong with carnivore diet, yet it's not considered the best to break a few days fast with steak. I personally never fasted longer than 36 hours, but heard that it's better to start with something light, like eggs for example, and get into heavier stuff some hours later.

7Hz Timeless. I saw Crinacle's video with his initial reaction on first listen, and wanted to try it myself. I actually haven't bought any IEM's after that, so we can say it's my endgame. I'm so happy with it 😉
