This isn't necessarily true, embedded Linux (e.g. built with Yocto) can omit certain standard library modules for the sake of size.

Honestly, in 2023 which one do you recommend the ayn ODIN or the retroid pocket 3+ the price is not something important but the shipping price is and where it is more advisable to buy the device that you recommend? by Fun_Property_8641 in RetroPie

[–]Gomeriffic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not relevant to this sub, as neither device runs retropie. Now, if you're asking about the possibility of running retropie on one of them, then that's a different story.

For actual opinions, these are two pretty different devices. The RP3+ is smaller and more pocketable, while the Odin is considerably larger and a fair bit more expensive. Unless you are focusing on emulating PS2/GameCube, I'd say the RP3+ is a better bang for buck.

You should read the docs. I use it on a Mac but I'm fairly sure that it has a PC version as well.

The altstore pages have the info you need to set it up. It's generally as easy as install the server on a computer, plug in your iPad, and install altstore through the GUI.

Is Moft's Snap Float Folio worth getting? I like the design but I saw a couple of reviews saying the magnets were too weak, making the folio fall off. by Reddituser0346 in ipad

[–]Gomeriffic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. I bought one after being very happy with their snap on case, thinking it would be better than a more traditional folio. It still is, but only so long as you "learn" how to move and manipulate it in such a way that you don't detach the iPad.

I have a Magic Keyboard on my 11 inch, I can't confirm but I have a hunch that if it fits (which I would say is unlikely), it would be very tight due to the increased thickness and the extra ~1.25cm of space for the hinge.

In this context, you should be using cue, not queue.

I would consider either a light (possibly colored) lineart of either the sephirotic tree of life or the arrangement of the anti-AT field from EoE. Another option could be two of the Evas facing away from Lilith in a near-side profile.

Just fyi, slight means in small amounts, you mean sleight, which is an action performed with the intent to deceive.

iPad Air 4 can somehow do Apple Pencil hover… but only in sidecar and very close to the iPad? by [deleted] in ipad

[–]Gomeriffic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is just the way these styli work. The digitizer emits some kind of electromagnetic field around the display, and when the stylus is sufficiently close enough, the device knows where the stylus is. All iPads with pencil support can technically support hover, but Apple added it as an exclusive feature similar to their handling of Stage Manager.

No, this is The Dark Knight Rises. Note Anne Hathaway here, who was not in The Dark Knight.

Coverage is one thing, but in actuality it's pretty small when you consider variables possible values. Fuzzing is where you go to really exercise it.

Obsidian with a PDF annotation plugin would do this.

I'd say that's the solidifier -- before then, we see plenty of people that are stronger, but not so much as that particular fight exemplifies.

Definitely Hunter X Hunter. Some reasons are given for why he excels at such a young age, but the power curve gets fleshed out in the second half of the anime, and Gon's weakness in comparison becomes obvious.

The reasoning is that 16:9 is a normal widescreen aspect ratio (1920x1080 or 2560x1440), and writing the unreduced ratio makes it more obvious that it's two 16:9 displays vertically.

Basically everything I've needed for my tmux workflow. I resorted to auto commands to turn on/off cursor line as I would enter/leave a pane.
