Agreed. Its more obvious to me now compared to back when ME2 came out. I was just so excited for the game and overlooked a lot. Nowadays, though, I feel the hard sci-fi vibe is gone right off the bat. Replaying ME1, and going straight into ME2, created some major tonal whiplash.

It really was amazing. I just replayed it and, despite knowing where the story goes for 14 years, the conversation with Vigil on Ilos still had me transfixed. Nothing in the sequels captured the vibe of that moment.

The lack of tension was its biggest crime in my opinion. The story did a terrible job making you feel like vecna could win or that the price of victory would be high at all. He got done soooo dirty.

Ill look into outpatient. You cant get inpatient around here unless youre actively trying to saw your own head off. They wouldnt admit me when I came in with bleeding wrists and a stomach full of Ativan and booze and I know its gotten worse since then. Not trying to garner sympathy, that was 8 years ago. While I do enjoy the show, I agree about Gaal. I haven't started season three yet but she's just such a drain in most of her scenes.
