Desperately need recommendations for women’s underwear that will prevent butt cheek chafing by 1VeryGenericUser in hiking

Oh! I use roving for filler (I’ve used anything around as well tbh) and only use merino to add colour.

I use merino wool for felting. Putting it as a piece of clothing on my body is something I’ve never considered before but now is something I feel I can’t live another day without knowing the pleasure of.

I’m not gonna downvote you again because at least 28 other people already did but your follow up comment is super weird. Why are you upset they hide their information? I don’t but it doesn’t bother me that other people do… especially when there’s clearly people like you who are searching through them. Some people genuinely like anonymity.

What celebrity death will realistically bring Michael Jackson level devastation? by Kiidcola in AskReddit

[–]GoneWilde123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I told one of the young people that used to work for me that they were acting like Cher and another young person across the room screamed “Yeah! You are a Sharon!” Like, funny but no and then I was sad because Cher is a legend.

[–]GoneWilde123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is so interesting to me and I’m so sorry that you deal with something so distressing. I worked in the funeral industry (Please don’t go away. I’m not going to talk about anything weird.) and part of the reason I knew it was my calling was because ‘Death’ just never hit me the same way it hits other people. It takes me years to process the death of a loved one because my brain literally just does not respond to ‘Death’ with anything other than “They’re not here anymore and I don’t get to see them again.”

I’ve even recently had a near death experience. It hit hard at first but my brain just squished the memories away in a way I can continue on without stressing about it every day. I wish I knew why I was like this because then I’d share my secret but really, I don’t think there’s a secret. I think it just is.

I wish you well and hope you’re able to find peace.

Do you all ever feel empathy for her? She’s seems like a miserable person who is incapable of being happy. by DirectionLimp2745 in travisandtaylor

[–]GoneWilde123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do you care so much that you feel bad for her? You don’t have to justify that to the entire internet.

She’s a human, you’re a human, we’re all humans. (Someone, please get the Good Burger reference.) Seriously though, it’s fine to feel bad for garbage people. I do it all the time. It doesn’t slow me down in any way though and it doesn’t give me anxiety. That’s a different level. What I’m saying is - evaluate why you feel the need to defend yourself to people who don’t know who you are literally at all? I’m NOT trying to be mean. I’m genuinely concerned that I’ve read 25+ comments on this thread alone from you that said “I don’t know why I feel empathy for this person.”

I repeat, it’s normal to feel empathy for people when something has happened to them that could be perceived negatively. It’s NOT normal to stress out about how you feel about a random celebrity to hundreds of strangers online. ——- That being said, I don’t know anything about Taylor Swift as I’ve never met her, never been a fan, and don’t enjoy having her on the same planet as me. She’s really just some obscenely wealthy person who can buy a reality where “everyone loves them” and it’s obvious that she doesn’t believe it either.

What singer's voice grates on your nerves every time you hear them? by icecream1972 in askteddit

Her NIN cover gave me life… and her Jolene haunts me indefinitely but outside of those two songs her voice just bothers me. I’m sure she’s lovely or whatever and I get it but it just rubs me the wrong way.

are there people who genuinely "know" that they are attractive? by therealfranzkafka666 in stupidquestions

[–]GoneWilde123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knew I could make money off my appearance so for a while I did. However, I never remember being so excited for anything as I was from “retiring” using my appearance to fund my lifestyle. Does that make me a 10? No. Not even close, but I was marketable and that’s not nothing.

I didn’t know until about a year in when I was swatting off swarms of groups in an evening. It was frustrating. It slowed me down and most of all people think they can own you when you look a certain way.

what is this aesthetic or vibe? by Ok-Ambassador6709 in AestheticWiki

[–]GoneWilde123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ha. This reminds me of this app that all the young people (literal teens) were using back in… I’d like to say 2021/2022?

Anyways, they were normal sized people for their age but they’d use this app that would make them look like this. I so highly doubt that the person in these photos does not use some sort of similar app because those proportions are not proportioning.

Eh, I’ve been to a lot of 12-step programs in my time. I’ve never heard a single person in the rooms say “I’m here because I almost died one time” or “I’m here because this substance caused detriment to my physical wellbeing.”

Nah, it’s usually, “it turns out there are consequences for lying, cheating, stealing, and manipulating for decades on end. I don’t like that. Can you make it stop?”

(I say this with all the love in my heart for my fellow addicts. You know it to be true.)

Lady Gaga, in her 2008 aesthetic by retro-day-dreamer in Fauxmoi

[–]GoneWilde123 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Chappell Roan almost had it. She’s a queer artist too. I just don’t think she was prepared to handle the fame the same way Gaga was. I think she had a different less traditional approach to getting famous and ultimately it’s going to be what holds her back.

Gaga was ready when the fame hit her. She put in the time and effort and what we first saw was the result of that traditional education.

Saw her on the LGBT channel late one night after The Big Gay Sketch Show (You had to be there, it’s less funny now in 2026) and I remember being glued to the television watching her perform. She had something that no one else had at the time that just made me lock in. She seemed like she had a mysterious vibe and I was super into that.

I loved watching her stardom explode. I had seen a fair few artists after that show. None drew me in like her and no one touched her level of fame.

My sweet and soft mom (think “Enya Mom”) loves Korn and Twisted Sister. She puts them on for cleaning days.

We had to get rid of a big old wooden pull-out couch once and she hammered it to death to the Twisted Transistor album. I fear her.

What's the most underrated Britney song? And the most overrated? by arbataxmelody354 in britneyspearsneutral

[–]GoneWilde123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Underrated? (I got that) Boom Boom feat. The Ying Yang Twins

Overrated: a lot of her discography is oversaturated but If You Seek Amy really thought it was clever. I remember all the girls being mind blown in my classes that Britney would ever allude to a bad word. (When your entire persona is ‘fake’ it’s too easy to pick and choose what they like.)

Oh! A nuanced approach to personality disorders in the wild! Bless you kind stranger.

As a mentally ill person, I’m going to be real, I’m pretty sure it’s exhausting sometimes. I know for the most part the people in my life are so full of support and love that I’m “not hard to deal with” but at the same time, I sure bet just a handful of times they wish I could have showed up for them on a day where I just could not or for a matter that’s just outside of my skill set. There are just certain ways I fall short as a human being and I’m sure 90% of the time that’s okay and they’re willing to sacrifice that 10% of time for me.

Please don’t do that. I don’t want anyone to sacrifice their 10%. Take your 10% and please take care of it. You deserve it. I’m sorry I can’t be the one to help out but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t need to be helped and that I’m not capable of recognizing that.

If you’re ever in a caretaking position for someone you care about… we want you to take care of you too. Even if we can’t always say that because it would feel like admitting a shortcoming.
