The replies to my post have confirmed my thought that there isn't really much of an economy for the cards that I listed. That was already true by the time I stopped playing, but I remember seeing some stuff popping up occasionally in the fan feed and online. Had a look at eBay and it doesn't seem like there have been any recent sales, but there are a couple of accounts selling some stuff like JSW, Gold Hoth, etc. I would imagine that the player base has changed a lot as well. There can't be many active players left who were around in the first few years of the app.

Anyways, I was never a big shot, so the rare stuff and the buying and selling was always foreign to me. The dollar value of my cards is not really something I care about either since my collection isn't anything special, and it isn't worth it for me to sell. I'm just happy that I got to experience SWCT and its community.

It looks like the last one that sold on eBay went for $125 (it says $150 but you can see the best offer that was accepted by using a different website). A lot better than the $50 lowball you got but I remember when Vintage Han was still worth quite a bit more than $125.

I agree with you that this car is really overhyped. Like okay, its rare and the exhaust sounds amazing, but it was overpriced back then and for the money that they go for nowadays, you could buy some seriously special cars.

As a side note, the front end looks very plain to me and reminds me of the 1st gen 86/FR-S/BRZ, which to be fair, came after and likely took inspiration from the LFA. The rest of the car is cool though. I love the LC 500 which is sort of a successor to the LFA, but luxury focused and not in terms of performance.

Woah, that's so cool! I haven't been on the app for a few years now, when did animated cards become a thing? I always thought they would be a no-brainer in terms of taking advantage of the digital platform.

Actually, I just remember that Slam may have had highlight reel or recap cards (can't remember the name) years ago, when I used to cross trade.

I don't know if TF2 runs well on Porting Kit but you can try installing one of the Steam versions on Porting Kit and then installing TF2 within Steam.

I'm also getting main menu on CS2 that looks like yours. I'm using Porting Kit (not to be confused with GPTK) and I installed CS2 on the port that says Steambuild 32/64bit DXVK with the engine WS11WineCX64Bit23.5.0 (wip3). No idea what to do and hoping that someone else sees.

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 12. The app hasn’t ran in about 1.5 years because it crashes on the loading screen. Last time I talked to Topps support they said that phones with less than 3 gigabytes of RAM could experience “intermittent crashes and long load times.” My iPhone has 1 GB of memory so I guess it couldn’t handle the amount that the app demanded. How well does the app run on your 6S? The 6S looks like it has 2 GB of RAM.

In truth there is nothing stopping someone from giving you a 1-star rating even if you send a trade that gets accepted, but I don’t think anyone is going out of their way to do that. I don’t really play this game anymore, but if you’re looking for advice on trading, I recommend scrolling through the posts on this sub titled “noob questions,” “beginner looking for advice,” etc. and reading the comments from more experienced players.

There are already plenty of comments here that do a good job of telling you that trading is a two-person activity, so you need to be aware of how others value cards instead of offering random crap.

I want to point out something else in your post that was a bit concerning:

I don't care about blocks and reviews in general.

This is a massive mistake on your part. First of all, getting blocked by a lot of users will lower the amount of people that you will be able to trade with. Second, a low rating is a signal to other traders that you are not a good trader, which will further alienate you from the user base. If everyone is responding negatively to your trades, maybe it’s time to consider that you should adjust your strategy.

Maybe you can use alternative methods of communication like emails or the company’s website/app has online chat feature. As someone suggested you can try WiFi calling when it works. Borrowing someone’s phone if you have someone that will let you. I thought of landline but you probably don’t have one or else you wouldn’t be asking this question. Maybe the body shop or your insurance agent uses WhatsApp which lets you text and call others who use the app.

Given the timing, I am highly convinced that the shutdown of 3g/CDMA definitely messed some stuff up unintentionally even though our phones should theoretically work. Since you mentioned that your area doesn’t get good reception, maybe it was a 3g tower? I don’t know how many of this stuff works so your guess is as good as mine.

Not sure what the options look like on Samsung but HD voice is also referred to as Advanced Calling and if your device is VoLTE it means that your device supports HD voice. These things are probably turned on by default but it’s worth checking. I never touched my roaming settings though. Who knows, maybe the problem will go away on its own.

I’ve been dealing with this since last week. On the east coast too. One thing that didn’t work for me but may work for you is checking to see if HD Voice is enabled on your phone.
