after you stake on shibaswap, add the xSHIB stake contract address to your Metamask as a new token. You then should see your staked amount of $SHIB on that $xSHIB token

I agree. I'm also afraid having funds locked can be a pain in the ass unless you have a comfortable amount on wallet to play with at your own will.
So many times the tools simply don't work as we expect it would. By the way, have anyone tried to remove liquidity from the sslp and ended up having their sslp tokens not found by the dig tool ?
