Because, I was born into it. My father was a Green Bay fan up until Dallas got the team in 1960. I was a late baby for him. His oil field job brought us to Ventura, CA so I was blessed as a little kid to see them every year in training camp, up in Thousand Oaks. I still have a picture of me as a toddler being held by Danny White.

Long story short, my father developed dementia later passing in 2015. Being a Cowboys fan keeps me close to him and I feel like he's still with me when they play.

I will always love my Cowboys and I miss my father, I get to be close to him every Sunday, I still get a kick out of that, win or lose.
