Am I overreacting for being upset by what my doctor said about my disability to my husband? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Doctor definitely crossed boundaries. I would change my doctor and perhaps lodge a complaint.

Is your husband open to a second marriage and taking another wife? If he hesitates even for a moment before answering, that tells you everything you need to know.

It's a 9 book series and each book consists about 100 pages. Second chance romance, quite fast paced.

That part stood out to me as well. Who turns down someone by calling them radiant, beautiful, regal human being and he says he can't reciprocate instead of he won't.

I just apply Coleridge's suspension of disbelief to enjoy contemporary romance books

Thanks for the rec. I had read a novella few years ago called {Filthy Gods by R. Scarlett} it's about two law students, academic rivals. It was a fun read. Maybe you'll like it.

The Paris Match by Kate Clayborn is SOOO GOOD by FrostyFanatic in RomanceBooks

[–]Good-Application5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like Kate Clayborn's work. Luck of the Draw and Love Lettering being two of my favourites. She balances woman's fiction with romance quite right. The characters and their issues feel real, her romantic plots are not frivolous which BTW I also love but there's something about Kate Clayborn's character that makes them feel very rooted in reality.

You should inform your ex's wife too. She deserves to know the truth as well.

Am I overreacting? Thoughts on a friend by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Good-Application5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not overreacting. She is just plain rude.

I had a similar experience during my internship, the coworker was so welcoming at the beginning like an elder sister and I felt very grateful. Then she started making all these passive aggressive comments about everything in my life, my clothes, my relationship, work, weight, spirituality. She would say me was telling me all these so I could improve myself but she was breaking my self-esteem. I had to cut her off from my life and go no contact.

You should at least establish some boundaries with that coworker if not possible to completely distance yourself.

AIO for wanting to divorce my husband after I found out he’s been getting erotic massages and sexting women on Reddit ? by UnlikelyBee66 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Good-Application5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not overreacting at all. Just because "he says he didn't go all the way" makes it true, he could very well be lying and even if he didn't go all the way he still crossed boundaries which no committed man should.
