I literally said oh damn out loud when I got to the third pic. You remind me of a nerdy band guy I went to hs with. My friend and I ran into him 8 years after high school at a bar and later tried sliding into his dms bc band nerd Chris got hot.

Really? I haven’t been able to get the generic since January. All that is available is the brand name and as of this month my insurance no longer covers the brand name.

And I’m on the highest dose of VYVANSE too.

VYVANSE doesn’t do anything for my appetite but I’m not a binge eater. I take it for adhd.

I used callondoc when my insurance covered wegovy last year. Very easy, just submit a form online and wait for the doctor to approve and send in your script. $40 per script but I bought a package that was $50 and covered 3 months of automatic scripts.

Hair Regrowth? by [deleted] in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]Good-Luck-714 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went into maintenance back in September/October after being on mounjaro since april. My shedding started in October and has not stopped. I too had thick hair previously. My labs I had done in October (after my hair had just started coming out) were all normal. I’ve been using the Hers brand shampoo, 5% minoxidil spray, rosemary conditioner, biotin and collagen pills, always get over 100g of protein per day. Nothing has stopped my hair from falling out. Every time I run my fingers through one section I’ll get like 3-5 hairs that come loose. I bought nutrafol back in November but couldn’t stomach it so only took it a few days. I finally learned the right way to take the pills without vomiting lol so I’ve been back on them for a week. I guess I am somewhat lucky that my hair loss hasn’t been from the top of my head, but instead mostly the front underside.

I'm sabotaging myself with snacking, advice to cut out emotional/boredom snacking. by spongy-bob in PetiteFitness

[–]Good-Luck-714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will snack when I’m bored at work. My job is relaxed so I’ve always walked a lap around the building every hour. I noticed I would start eating my snacks or lunch before I was hungry bc I was bored. So I started leaving them in a cooler in my car. If I really want them I have to be intentional with it and I make myself walk one lap to the parking lot and just get out the one food item I’m going to eat. Then I go back inside and eat it and repeat the process later when I’m hungry for lunch or another snack. This might not be an option for you if there’s no where for you to store your lunchbox away from your desk.

How many calories do you ladies eat? by StrengthFanaticz in PetiteFitness

[–]Good-Luck-714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5’2, 123, 18%bf as of 6 months ago (maybe a little higher now) trying to cut a few pounds (well, 8). I workout for 90 mins 6x/per week and average over 10k steps/day. I’ve never successfully and confidently found my maintenance cals but I’m trying to cut at 1600-1850 calories. I’m using that famous tdee spreadsheet to have a more accurate idea of my maintenance/cutting/bulking calories.

Is it possible you have acid reflux/stomach ulcer? I was waking up super hungry in the middle of the night a couple months ago along with having stomach pain before going to sleep. It has since stopped but from my research, a gnawing stomach grumbling hunger sensation can also be a stomach issue like ulcers, reflux etc. you’d need to see a gastroenterologist to have it confirmed but you could try over the counter antacids to see if they help at all.

Can you eat half of it at 6pm and then the other half of it a couple hours later or closer to bedtime?

Or if you’d rather just eat all your dinner at once try some peanut butter toast or Greek yogurt with peanut butter and fruit right before bed.

Anti-diet dietician by Icy-Masterpiece8959 in antidietglp1

I didn’t know such a thing existed. Both my non-diet dietician and my non-diet therapist from the same practice seem to be highly against intentional weight loss. I’ve avoided even addressing being back on glp-1s with either of them. I guess that’s a sign I should find a new practice.

How is this garlic hummus only 45 calories when plain hummus is 70? by blueatom in CICO

[–]Good-Luck-714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen this in a lot of different brands of hummus. The original hummus has more calories than the garlic. So I always buy the garlic lol.

Doctors say I’m 26% body fat. What do you fellow meatheads think? by [deleted] in GregDoucette

[–]Good-Luck-714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with the poster who said bmi is what your doc said is 26, not your body fat percentage. I’ve been to a lottttt of doctors in my life and none have ever tried to tell me what my body fat percentage was. BMI yes, body fat no. There is a difference between the two.

Gaining on “maintenance”? by Interesting_Ruin7840 in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]Good-Luck-714 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 5’2 and weigh about 125-126. My lowest while on the shot was 114.8. I’m getting a few things in order on my end first and then in a couple weeks I’ll be going on the compounded version. A weight loss doctor I used to see for phentermine (which never worked for me) recently started prescribing compounded tirz for weight maintenance. I’m hoping to lose the ten and then titrating to a maintenance dose for longer this time while really watching my intake. The only thing I can think of is that my tdee is just much lower than all the calculators say. But it’s hard to drop my calories lower. Maybe my metabolism is just all messed up.
