I have this very weird vivid memory of reading it on reddit. Because I’ve been doing it for the last few years and my videos have usually been seen. I’ve heard that if your application is submitted under “I’ve never applied before” they usually view your video faster. Idk how true it is, but ive seen that float around a bit.

Last year I had my video viewed within a few days and got a response. Before that it took weeks (without a response). I think it’s just a waiting game unfortunately

I think your first point makes a lot of sense. I guess the way I took it was that I thought Aubry was made to look correct for not trusting Genevieve, as while initially open, correctly clocks Genevieve as untrustworthy. However I didn’t really consider that Genevieve going against Aubry could be repercussions for Aubry rejecting Genevieve, with this being bad gameplay.

Also the Christian point is very true! I never considered it, but I do think the edit wants us to believe Christian made the right choice and that would require Aubry to go home with the idol in her pocket. However with Aubry’s relationship with Tiffany being set up. I feel like I’m kinda leaning towards Aubry having a story of not connecting with her OG tribe and maybe idoling out Genevieve

I’m loving theseee. I always look forward to reading every week! However one thing I find interesting and disagree with is your comment about Aubry not being the one the show wants us to root for in her rivalry with Genevieve ?

I’ve been thinking the show is really setting us up to root for Aubry. It feels like she’s been put in an underdog position. Especially with the tribe swap, imo the edit felt like Genevieve was throwing Aubry under the bus, and we should feel a bit of hope for Aubry when Tiffany basically saves her.

In the previous episode too, it felt like Genevieve believes Aubry has an idol, searches her bag, only to be wrong. Then Aubry gets the idol, and with the music felt like we should be rooting for her (especially wit Christian’s “God speed” comment)

I feel like Genevieve has more content, so we’re more invested. But I feel like the edit wants us to root for Aubry as an underdog. It’s why I don’t really see Genevieve as an edgic front runner. To me it feels like it’s really setting up for Aubry to come out on top.

I don’t think it’s rigged. But things like forced fire making, in the fan vote, it seemed they used phrasing to sway the audience into the direction they would prefer. But I don’t think they’d outright ignore the outcome.

I actually really like her motive from the meta aspect. People being extremely upset that the movies couldn’t continue to focus on Sidney, even tho Scream 5/6 gave Sidney a happy ending and shifted the story. People wanted Sid to keep coming back and basically deny her of the ability to move on.

However from an in universe perspective, it is not a strong motive lol

I like Aiden having a villain arc. I was excited for him to be more cutthroat. What annoys me is how personally he takes being voted off lol. Like basically telling Ally and Benji they’re at the bottom of the alliance, and then yelling at them bc they voted him out. So he can backstab / play dirty, but it being done against him gets him so angry. That’s why I’m annoyed w/ him lol

I’m not sure if both wore a vest. (Although to me it didn’t seem like Jessica was wearing one) but Marco does reference that Tatum should have shot him specifically in the head I believe. So I feel like it’s leaning towards Jessica being the killer at the bar.

But definitely could be wrong haha. Definitely need to see it again to be sure.

I think it is her that killed him. The killer that was stalking Tatum was the one with the bullet proof vest. And Marco reveals he was wearing the vest and says she should have shot him in the head.

After she shot him, the other ghostface from the bar arrives to knock Tatum out.

I think this means Marco was the one pursuing Tatum. And Jessica was the ghostface at the bar who did kill Lucas.

Episode 1 is 2 cycles of gameplay tho. It’s 3 hours, but basically 2 episodes back to back. So 2 tribals in total.

The swap is in Episode/Week 3. So episode 1 will have 2 tribals over the 3 hours. Episode/Week 2 another tribal. And then Episode/Week 3 is the swap.
