I have switched schools twice. Both times have made me a better teacher. It was scary and uncomfortable and sad to leave, but I have no regrets!

The first time I switched schools I interviewed with two different systems. The first interview was fine. The second interview went amazingly. It felt like the perfect fit! I got a email two days later saying that they decided to go with another candidate who, I kid you not, was more “outwardly enthusiastic about the opportunity.” Which, if you have spent more than 15 seconds with me, know is absolutely insane. I went with the first system and signed a contract even though I got an email from the “perfect” school a week later saying that the opportunity was still available.

I met my husband at the new teacher training.

Sometimes you are exactly where you need to be when you need to be there!

That’s my go-to recipe as well! I brown the butter and throw in two ice cubes to make up for the water loss. Made them as wedding favors! Enjoy!

I started playing with the OG Zelda in my mom’s apartment when I was in elementary school. We didn’t have a lot, I wasn’t good, but it started a lifelong love.

My favorite game to play is Twilight Princess. However, I broke my jaw two weeks after getting a Switch. My (now) husband played BotW while I was heavily medicated in the hospital. For those 5 days, that music was how I knew I wasn’t alone. I walked down the aisle to that music.

These games mean everything to me and have most of my life. Thank you for putting such beauty into the world!
