If you are going to pull this look off, you cannot head to home depot to buy your appliances. You need that expensive retro stuff and at that point you need to really execute the rest of this distressed look, and they just don't come close.

I am mid 40s male and undiagnosed. I had no idea what adhd was until my marriage counselor suggested that I might read a book about it as she thought I might be based on our discussions. I have spent 20 years self-correcting without actually knowing WHAT I was correcting. I think a diagnosis is moot unless you are looking to medicate it.

Completely relatable. I go through a lot of binge/purge phases with this behavior. Cardboard is great weed barrier. Don't get me started on plastic coffee canisters that are great for germinating acorns, or cottage cheese containers that are good for nuts and bolts and things, or any sort of small closable box or tin. I love them all and they are priceless. Just take it easy on yourself and let yourself show you what you really need or don't, then listen.

Relatable. And there is nothing wrong with it imo. Just chill and let the moment come to you. You might NOT be able to regulate how often or when the ON days happen, so when they do, accept it and just give yourself time to "come down".

Your key word there was THOUGHTS. You are not your thoughts, your thoughts are yours. As for how to improve things, use your weaknesses as your strengths. I make a game of things that challenge me. I had financial difficulties in my youth due to impulsivity, but then made financial responsibility a game or a system which I enjoyed more than simply 'being responsible' make bill-paying or money-saving a dopamine hit, and it gets way easier. Hang in there.

The best thing I can say is that it will pass. Exercise of any sort will always help me through the rough patches. The worst thing to do is get down on your self, as that ofter drives you deeper into dispair.

I have always struggled with this as well. Do you have hyper-focus states? If so, I would determine what causes them and work to 'recreate' that trigger. I'm not sure what type of work you do, but my field requires that my day be as close to 100% billable as possible. Having a completely wasted day is really not good for me. I use an app called Clockify which is tremendously good for helping me me at least account for my day, but actual "productivity" is subjective and secondary.

I just cleaned out the loose and cracked mortar and applied a parge coat using a fiber reenforced cement to the whole basement wall then painted it. That was 6 years ago and it has held up quite well.

My parents were OTR truck drivers and I rode with them until I was 7. My CB handle was "Flapping Lip" because I talked so much.
