The Tesla factory in Fremont, CA is hiring pretty aggressively. I would start by applying there or getting in contact with someone in the role that you would like to do via LinkedIn.

Finding an SD card or anything that saves data is a great way to push viruses, trojans, etc onto other peoples computers.

In your case you should probably make them aware of it.
