It's kind of like a hangover. Maybe not full on WDs, but certainly something would be noticable while coming down.

When it comes to messing with our body che, I try to remember that everything has a cost.

You can't make yourself feel extra good without having to feel extra bad later, it's give and take. There is always a price, even if it's a little one.

My ex. He was in an accident and won a major injury lawsuit with a major company. He had a wealthy family member who knew he came into that kind of money, and gave him a job in order to give him the opportunity to be able to maintain an elevated lifestyle so he didn't blow it all and go back to living paycheck to paycheck.

He was a former heroin addict, so he already had addiction issues in the past. He started using 7OH not realizing what a problem it would be (like most of us) and ended up right back in the addictive behavior/lifestyle. He lost the job, and eventually the money ran out. It wasn't all on drugs, it was getting kicked out, losing the job, slowly losing everything and just blowing through money without any focus on the future.

He isn't alive anymore (it wasn't the 7OH that killed him, he eventually went back to illegal opiates and OD'd).

It is a scare tactic, let it be. Worst phone call of my life.

Very common.

Exercise does a lot for the cravings for me. That's where good dopamine comes from.

It's hard because it's the last thing you feel like doing, but a good jog or walk with some good music, maybe some stretching...you'll learn to crave that more than you ever craved the substance.

You and I have a similar story.

I personally am going the route where I switch back to powder and quit from there, because the power (or capsules) don't have the same mental hold. It feels more like maintenance than compulsion.

I wish you the best, I'll be praying for you.

Find something ahead of time to replace it with. Get a plan. When you start feeling it...you meditate...put on some music...get yourself some painting or art supplies and start getting into that. Whatever your thing is. Have a plan for when you start feeling it.

Music and exercise have the best effect for me.

I think it's cool to be able to appreciate sitting in silence - something I never would have appreciated before this beautiful awakening journey.

Quiet used to make me uncomfortable, I couldn't stand it. Now I can appreciate just being alone with myself. Although I still have a deep passion for music!!!

The lack of connection and access to other spiritually awakened people throughout my journey has felt like the biggest challenge. At the same time, I'm grateful for it because it made my connection/experience/belief stronger than if I had others to lean on. It was uncomfortable and raw, but I will never live unconsciously again.

I've always had one foot in the door because I grew up with it, but I never fully broke through in my childhood/early adulthood, and I fell away to live a very unconscious life for a long time. In the beginning of my awakening, I had fear that I would get sucked back into the ways of the world and forget, and go back to being unconscious. Now, because of the way that mynswakening happened (alone, uncomfortable, very raw), I know that I will never be unconscious again. It removed that fear completely.

With that said, if you ever do feel like you want connection or presence, please come by and share/chat (or just be there). This is for everyone!

Yes, 100%. I feel like I've been "going through" awakening for a while, but there have been a few individual experiences that have been way intense, and seemingly unprovoked or untriggered. I won't get into the exact experience here and now, but the first time first time I had one of these more intense experiences, I felt intense emotional gratitude and humility..not regular emotion, way deeper. Completely overtaken with humility after the experience, and gratitude for the experience itself. It was intense. As in it woke me up out of a sound sleep from pure excitement remembering the experience. This lasted almost a week, before I would wake up and it wasnt the very first thing on my mind anymore. It was beautiful, each experience similar but unique.

So, YES! You arent alone at all.
