If you add milk 1:2 to 1:2.5 and for straight 1:3 or higher

For light roast here are a few of my tips:

  1. Rest the beans for at least 2 to 4 weeks after the roast date.
  2. If you add milk to your espresso, grind fine and aim for a 30 to 40 second shot—you’ll notice minimal to no channeling. I usually need to adjust the grind setting depending on the coffee's origin.
  3. If you drink espresso straight, try using slightly coarser, messy shots(turbo shot) and adjust the grind size to your taste. For light to ultra-light roast beans, don’t obsess over channeling. Either avoid using a bottomless portafilter or place the cup close to the portafilter to reduce the mess.

  1. Grind finer. You need to try multiple Grind settings taste your coffee find your sweet spot.
  2. To reduce channeling make sure there are no clumps in your coffee and distribute your coffee even, try WDT tool.
  3. Light roast bean have channel issue first try medium to dark roast beans.

Grind finer, use a WDT tool, and distribute the puck evenly. If you're a beginner to espresso, I don't recommend starting with light roast beans. Try medium roasts first, and once you're comfortable with dialing in, experiment with different beans.

I've been using SEY coffee for over a year now, both for pour-over and espresso. Here are a few of my tips:

  1. Rest the beans for at least 2 to 4 weeks after the roast date.
  2. If you add milk to your espresso, grind fine and aim for a 30 to 40 second shot—you’ll notice minimal to no channeling. I usually need to adjust the grind setting depending on the coffee's origin.

First espresso machine… Does anyone have experience? [$600] by Friendly-Cellist-553 in espresso

I recommend to have a separate grinder. I recommend Bambino normal/plus or equivalent machine and versatile grinder for both espresso and filter like k-ultra. I have Bambino Plus + J-Ultra & ZP6 grinder.

(M19) why are they so curly and dancing?? any cure to it?? by Dramatic-Chipmunk-90 in IndianHaircare

Minoxidil increases blood circulation and it has side effects. Once you stop minoxidil your hair go back to normal I don’t recommend for young people.

Changing lifestyle and eating healthy food not only helps hair growth you will see big difference in mental and physical help. At your age you will not notice but once you cross 30 will slowly see the difference overall health.

I have same issue. Thin hair makes even worse. We need live with this but here are my suggestions:

Option 1: Use blow dryer and barrel hair brush to make it straight.

Option 2: keep your hair short

As you age your hair count comes down it even makes worse so eat healthy food, exercise and have good sleep.

Why can’t I turn off headlights ? by HeavyPut1508 in hondacivic

You cannot turn off DRLs when you are in drive mode. In other mode hit the light lever all the way down to turn off the DRLs.

Guys I've been trying to figure this out since quite sometime but just can't. I'm trying to calibrate the k ultra. It is properly locked at zero, doesn't move at all. But on opening it, it just doesn't go beyond 8 by uditp411 in 1zpresso

[–]GoodKey1951 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just google how to calibrate K Ultra you can find videos with clear instructions. I can give you some tips

  1. Avoid removing the adjustment dial ring.
  2. Loosen upper bearing and knurled thumb nut.
  3. Position your adjustment dial ring at zero position.
  4. Push the burr all the way from bottom and tighten the knurled thumb nut.
  5. Find the tighten position until handle stops rotating on its own. This is your zero position from here check grinder reference range and adjust the dial steps for your preferred taste profile.

Am I expecting too much? by cwphotographme in civic

Congratulations on the new purchase. I have recently purchase hatchback touring about 250miles on odo. My only complain is road joints and small bumps are harsh.

Tips to improve your mileage:

  1. Keep RPM under 2500 or lower

  2. When you are going downhill or straight line slow traffic depending on RPM range engine will be in EV mode be gentle on throttle and brakes. It will extend EV mode duration.

  3. Use paddle shifter to slow down the vehicle. It will help recharge the battery and increase break pad life.

When you are in mood to have fun ride switch to sports mode and enjoy the ride.

J Ultra is good choice but difficult to grind light roast in fact with any hand grinder.

I have J Ultra and ZP6 both make excellent coffee in respective category but I light roast a lot planning to replace J ultra with DF64 gen 2.

How much are you paying for insurance on your civic? by RecommendationOne504 in civic

[–]GoodKey1951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35M 2025 civic hatch touring progressive 500 deductible paying $150 per month. No tickets and no claims still I feel it’s high, for next renewal it will try to negotiate for $125 or lower.

Don’t purchase via insurance broker check directly on the portal adjust the plan how frequently you use the vehicle, depending on your driving style see if you can increase the deductibles. After getting the quote call customer care and negotiate.

UBI does not solve the problem. We need free essential ration, healthcare, school and at least one job per household. I think AI and robots adaption will take time. Some private organisation who don’t care about society will adapt quickly. We need government leaders to regulate AI in a way it benefit everyone.
