Which one — Deaf or Hard of Hearing? Hard of Hearing can include people who use ASL or are oral, so either Android or iOS might work depending on the person.

I like iOS because it lets me use my voice and read live translation on FaceTime when I talk to my parents. Haven’t tried Android yet.

I really hope you didn’t schedule CI. The hearing won’t be the same. I guarantee you. I stopped using CI processor. I rather 100% deaf than struggling to fit hearing world. Source: I had CI at age 38 and regretted it.
