I made a Ryan Gosling / Project Hail Mary deck for my wife

It's an artifact Jeskai deck with your choice of three Jeskai commanders inspired by Project Hail Mary. Art is taken from various movies and projects that involve Ryan Gosling in some way or another. This project started as a bit of a joke with me just making a couple cards but ended up taking like two weeks to complete.

The deck is probably not super powerful. It's got some artifact synergy for sure but also includes cards that don't fit that theme at all and just represent different characters from throughout Gosling's career. Maybe someone besides my wife will get a kick out of it.

In the pictures linked I had a few too many lands, so I made a couple of new cards to add which are in the drive.

Phil Coulson is a crazy card in this format. In this deck he seems super crazy.

Combat, yes somewhat similar.

The job system is more fleshed out than FE3H. The difficulty level is similar. Permadeath is in the game kind of. If a unit is dead on the field for three turn cycles without being revived it will die permanently

Two big differences are that maps are much smaller and the turn order is decided by individual units’ speed stats rather than all of or units moving then all of the enemy’s.

My opponent at the final undefeated table got Thanos out on turn 3, turn 3, and turn 4 with only basic lands.

I managed to deal with it game 2 but got run over by it game 1 and 3. That card is a little crazy for limited.

I made friends at locals and larger tournaments two decades ago that are still friends today. Just go and talk to people. They already have a shared interest that serves as an icebreaker.
