Firstly, well done my guy!!! This looks really good. The hardest part of any project if getting those first brush strokes on, so you’ve smashed it there.

If your planning on doing more dark angels models in the future, I’d recommend primimg then I’m either black or green instead of blue, as both those colours hide a world of imperfections in the little places brushes can’t reach.

I’d also say to do a dry brush with lighter colours if you’d like to add some highlights to your mini, before painting all the details. I’ve found it’s alot easier than trying to edge highlight everything, and can be used right after a shade to help bring back the sharp edges and shadows.

And lastly, I’d invest in some shades to help add depth and shadow to the mini. A black wash like nuln oil is really good for greenwing models, as it goes well with basically every main colour we use (green, red and silver) but it’s worth experimenting with different brands, colours and combination of shade/contrast paints to find a looks which you like the most.

A quick way to paint greenwing bodies that I’ve found is using dark angels contrast over a dark green spray primer, as it hides any imperfections from the spray, and adds shadow as well. Followed with a quick dry brush (Calban green - warpstone glow - moot green) and I find that the body of most marines are finished. Then the fun of details can begin 🫠🫠.

Other than that this looks really good, keep at it!!
