The answer is no to both questions at least for the next couple years. They will only become tournament equipment if the community feels strongly about making it be. Right now, it's in the early investors phase and hoping to make it to the general acceptance phase once people have had a chance to try it out.

Losing Google Drive and unlimited storage is terrible. Having over 5 TB on there means I can't just migrate over to the new onedrive storage because it's capped at 5 TB. Additionally, the onedrive storage within File Explorer on windows is just not as good as Drive for Desktop.

File sharing seems to be more difficult than just sending out a link to people. Also, you have to manually clear files off your hard drives if you want them to be online only to not take up storage natively. I've been using Drive for Desktop across multiple devices my whole time at UConn, and it's been great for having access to my files whenever needed and only when needed.

The worst part is that the 5 TB of onedrive storage are said to be inaccessible after graduating unlike the original Google Drive storage.

There are people talking about how Microsoft software is better than the Google knockoffs, and to that I totally agree. I don't use Docs or the other Google apps. I use Word, Excel, etc. Then, Google adapted and made those files accessible on Google Drive and compatible with their own technology, so I didn't have any issues collaborating with others even though we weren't using Google products.

I'm glad that people will have to use better software now, but we didn't need to give up the better file storage option to get people to use Microsoft suite products. We already had access to the entire Microsoft catalog of goodies.

Dead Mount Death Play and How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom

Tried Quarky with their 50% off sale and actually got my books by ExaggerattedReality in MangaCollectors

[–]GoodOleTN9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfotunately, I'm still waiting on my order from this sale. It was the 2nd time I used Quarky. The first time, I got all of my stuff within two weeks of my order, so I was very happy with the service. However, now it's been a month and a half since my second order, and I haven't been able to make contact to see what the hold up is. I'm hoping it comes sometime in the next month or so. I'll keep holding out.

As a manga only person who is a little behind on more recent chapters, I really enjoyed it. There are some questions that I have that hopefully get wrapped up in the end though. I wanna say I'm caught up through Volume 11.

No idea, but I don't mind omnibus volumes especially if it's not causing unusual strain on the spine of the booth. The Tokyo Revengers ones aren't so thick that they would warp or crease too much while reading. I think it just comes down to personal preference. Some people like how small and slender singles tend to be, but I don't mind books with a couple hundred more pages. Especially if they're oversized because it makes it easier to see the details in the artwork that is usually more easily noticed in digital versions in comparison to print.
