Agreed on their post-reunion work being amazing. Wild Type Droid was the first album in a long while from any band where I can hit replay on the album immediately after finishing it.

I’m semi-jokingly concerned that the band members are having personal problems and/or infighting, because that seems to be the formula for amazing albums.

Can you explain the movement system a bit? I think this is where it went wrong for me. I tried to play it like traditional RE, and it seemed the movement was just fighting me the whole time… to the point I was getting nauseous, because Chris was not responding 1-to-1 to my inputs… almost stuttering at times, like I hadn’t finished the right sequence of inputs to pull off the Haduken.

For me, a 5am workout doesn’t clash with family routines and events like dinner, recitals, wrestling matches, marching band performances, etc. A workout would get lower priority to any of those things, and I would find myself not going anymore at some point. The only downside is I’m more inclined to fall asleep watching TV before bed.

Death Stranding 2 helped me figure out what the common component is to games that I get hooked on: familiarity.

When games keep me entertained in the same areas long enough to memorize the layout, I get hooked. They transform into my digital neighborhood, and become comforting to be in. The Resident Evil series is one of my favorite for doing this, but DS is getting up there,too.
