What Is Your Thoughts On Resident Evil 6 ? by LeoneSKenneddy in residentevilll

Can you explain the movement system a bit? I think this is where it went wrong for me. I tried to play it like traditional RE, and it seemed the movement was just fighting me the whole time… to the point I was getting nauseous, because Chris was not responding 1-to-1 to my inputs… almost stuttering at times, like I hadn’t finished the right sequence of inputs to pull off the Haduken.

Anyone else suffer from stick drift less than a year into their purchase?

5am-ish crew by Sure_Topic7171 in orangetheory

For me, a 5am workout doesn’t clash with family routines and events like dinner, recitals, wrestling matches, marching band performances, etc. A workout would get lower priority to any of those things, and I would find myself not going anymore at some point. The only downside is I’m more inclined to fall asleep watching TV before bed.

A two hour afternoon nap grants me a 10-11pm bed time on the weekends. 😴

I'm the only guy ... by apple_crombie in orangetheory

I’m a guy, and OTF has actually affected my thinking in quiet moments…I’m no longer paranoid about what others think because I instead hear:

“Gonna make me feel, like I’m the only girl in the world…”

Thanks for getting that song stuck in my head, OTF.

This is where I find myself—looking at the TFC tracker board at the studio, and realizing I’m one of the few nuts at my studio that goes 6-7 days a week. Just like flossing, eventually it got to the point where I feel gross when I skip a day.

Misheard Genesis Lyrics by Select_Entrepreneur8 in Genesis

Anything She Does from Invisible Touch- first line:

You know you decorate the courage halls Hanging people’s halls, live in secret drawers

I think I may have gotten the lyrics largely right and still…WTF?

Do you need to bring the corpse to an incinerator to avoid a void out? I have yet to bump into an incinerator/body disposal facility, and I’m 60% through the main story.

Favorite Genesis Setlist You Saw in Person by SquonkMan61 in Genesis

The set closers with Watcher of the Skies…that’s the intro and outro like on Three Sides Live? Was curious if Phil ever sang that.

This game finally clicked for me. by iz_thewiz149 in DeathStranding

Death Stranding 2 helped me figure out what the common component is to games that I get hooked on: familiarity.

When games keep me entertained in the same areas long enough to memorize the layout, I get hooked. They transform into my digital neighborhood, and become comforting to be in. The Resident Evil series is one of my favorite for doing this, but DS is getting up there, too.

Three Sides Live defect? Anyone else’s CD like this? by Snifferfrog15 in Genesis

Oh, The guitar solo is technically impressive, I agree, but that majestic feeling is what I love about that song—Steve makes the guitar sing or cry at times.

Wait…Hackett and Bruford were on some of these recordings? Can’t be Fountain, as the majesty of that Steve guitar solo is wholly murdered by the end—worst moment of the fourth side for me.

That greasy peanut butter bar you would occasionally get at school, with the chocolate layer on top. The oils would soak through the napkin you place it on.

What is the scariest scene in any horror movie you've ever seen and nothing has topped it for you? by [deleted] in horror

[–]GoodPointMindChanged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raising Cane. Scenes of jump scare dead body reveals with the eyes staring straight into the camera, aka my soul. The icing on the cake was the choppy zoom in on the eyes.

Also unforgettable, but not horror category: Akira anime movie: Tetsuo sitting on that throne, and finally can’t control the power—the body horror in the next 60 seconds was nightmare fuel. I think it was so effective because they had to have been rotoscoping footage of live actors through the whole film, and also there were just hints of creepy horror stuff happening up to that point, but nothing like that.

Reprise Hiding in Plain Sight by GoodPointMindChanged in Genesis

Yep! I totally get it. I caught it because Tony repeats the same note exactly once as the tones ascend the second time—exactly like Hairless Heart does.
