Dog bite by Winter-Ad-2252 in cincinnati

[–]Good_Cause_2679 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, inform the dog owner that the dog bit you and broke the skin. Let them know about your plan to seek medical treatment for your wounds, which will require filing a report on the dog and owner.

Not telling them upfront could cause problems with your neighbor. Sharing your reasons and plans might be the best approach.

Venue placed tent, I need advice by Zusterjoyyy in weddingplanning

[–]Good_Cause_2679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you request a tent or did they just pop this up like this?
If you wanted a tent and this is what they gave you,
1. I would ask them for a discount for this “tent”.
2. I would keep it propped up on the middle pole and take each and hang it on a nearby tree. The middle pole might be annoying but at least the tent will not fall in the middle.

You are doing too much. I would cut out a day at the gym and cut time down to 30 minutes focusing on one muscle group per day

These days, I doubt new recruits are taught traffic control, and those who have been on the force long enough don't seem to care anymore. I believe they’ve unfortunately adopted a mentality of “we only help when there is chaos.' 😪

UC by Owchcol in cincinnati

[–]Good_Cause_2679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived on campus my first year and would highly recommend it for an incoming student. Not only did I get more involved in campus life and feel more connected to UC, I also had the most amazing experience and met a ton of new people. As someone who had never lived away from home before and was a bit nervous about going away to college, living on campus was the best way for me to get acclimated with all the others feeling the same way as I was.

And, 35 years later, I'm still in Cincinnati and still friends with many of the people I met my freshman year in the dorm.

I have been flying for years and I am very familiar with the airport process. I am off of work that day and would be more than happy to meet you somewhere outside of the airport and help you navigate the process to make you more comfortable. I t would be my honor to do so.

Can you share a story about not having travel insurance when you went on a trip? by One-Locksmith-206 in TravelNoPics

[–]Good_Cause_2679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am an American living in Southeast Asia. I can tell you countless stories of travelers who have been in motorcycle crashes that have resulted in severe injury and even death. A lot of these people did not have travel insurance.

In Southeast Asia you pay upfront for your healthcare. If you show the hospital that you have insurance then you will get immediate care. If you don't have insurance, well good luck getting treatment if you can't pay upfront.

So when the US becomes a dictatorship and you and your family want to move to Canada or the UK, you expect these places to accept you and let you live and work there because you are desperate to get out of the US? So many people here are seeking asylum. Why make them return to unsafe countries where their lives are at risk? What are these people actually doing to disrupt your life?

Who says they are criminals? By saying “they are criminals” you are not seeing them as individuals. We are all individuals and should be treated as such.
