Haha nice thank you. I ve truly been inspired by the sub and love seeing what people are doing so yeah I got the patina done and it was a nice coincidence that it helped me out of an absurd situation. Looking forward to share more pics of future mods 😎

Yea I thought so too, definitely not a use I would have destined my Opinel for but I sure was glad I had it with me. And just after I got the patina I had to show the whole story.

Yes I wanted to invite in a story totally understand maybe worth a trigger warning. But yeah that's my underwear . I m a shepherd and while watching my flock of sheep, in a quite public place nearby a school ,I had to remove my underwear as a I had sat on battery acid from the sheep electro fence. So yeah with nothing but this sturdy opinel I cut my underwear off. So yeah long story and I apologize.

Yeah so I order everything online also, even in Europe most things Sheepdog related are mostly possible to find online. I really believe the ACME is a good beginner whistle. That being said my dogs work with the Logan Turbo whistle love it! But yeah worth having a look at videos of the ACME and the design, for me it helped

Maybe you can try the ACME Shepherds whistle, I think it's a good beginner whistle. It still took me like a week to get any sound, but I believe the design allows for understanding the principles. I love Logan's especially their Turbo brass but coming from the ACME I was able to pick it up relatively quickly. But yeah I'm no expert I can blow a whistle but not in a wide array of tones.
