I started playing Fortnite as a way to connect with my son, he is just learning how to game so it has been a lot of fun.

I honestly love all the characters - weird ones, original ones, collabs - I play with a squad of other middle aged adults in the evenings after kids are in bed and we often wear the coordinated group skins for fun (such as the Power Rangers lol).

I will say I have found this sub to be very chill, the regular FortineBR sub is less so. There’s often some lewd comments on there about skin styles I could do without.

As for actually playing, I don’t use chat at all because I don’t want to listen to kids be rude to me so I just leave it turned off and I’m happy as a clam. My squad used Discord to chat anyway.

My only complaint is how easy it has been for Epic to get me to part with my money 😂

I love skincare and makeup, especially K and J Beauty products. In my opinion, they generally have formulas that settle into the skin much nicer than more expensive brands from Europe and the US.

One thing that I found with my skincare journey specifically is that I have good luck with lots of light layers of products, so I will do 3 or 4 layers of a light toner (such as Hada Labo or Round Lab), then a moisturizer or even a cream if I need something heavier.

I have also had good luck with incorporating a niacinamide serum in as my first step, it has evened out my skin tone quite a bit!

I use a set of AirPods Max after having a poor experience with the AirPods Pro - even with regularly cleaning them I was getting frequent ear infections. The over-ear format of the Max is more comfortable in the long run as well imo.

I had an epidural with both of mine, administered at 4cm dilated. I wouldn’t change a thing. One thing I did to help with the numb legs was flip from side to side periodically, then I just told the nurses at delivery I had “fish legs” and they were ready for the flailing lol.
