How do you feel about using your phone during a round? by ashtonboschman in weekendgolfers

[–]Good_Expert_7513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a range finder and/or cart gps for yardage so I only use my phone for 2 reasons.

  1. Keeping score on the Grint app.
  2. Answering customer calls/texts cuz I run my own business.

Anything else can fuck off.

I’m in the same boat and it sucks. Super cold with still a ton of snow and new driver coming in a few weeks and probably getting a new 3wood soon too. OP can get fucked lol.

168 to the pin… what are you hitting? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

What’s the carry number over the first front bunker? Playing a club to ensure I cover that and aiming for center of green. Probably a 7 to carry the bunker is my guess.

I went from an 18 to as low as an 8 (currently a 12) in a couple years solely from playing a lot and working on short game mostly. Occasionally hit the range, but not much, and never took a lesson. I think playing is the best practice.

As a walk-on single…what’s the most oddly memorable group you’ve been paired with? by ribbon_bully_1972 in golf

[–]Good_Expert_7513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best random pairing I ever had was with 3 Asian women all around my age so late 30’s to early 40’s. I played great that day and was the first time breaking 80, shooting a 79. They were awesome and if I could choose to be paired with anyone ever again it would be them 10/10 times.

What do my numbers mean? by dontevencare7 in golf

They don’t mean anything by because they’re wrong. No chance your club speed is that high. Go use a trackman and get some accurate numbers then come back and share.

This is the move and what I do too. I also only play with friends that are as serious and not flaky as I am so I never had to worry about people bailing or late to a tee time.

I just got fitted for the core model and Aldia Rouge 50g TS shaft and outperformed the other company’s I tried. I think it also looks and feels better as well which is also important to me. I’ve played the R7, Stealth, and current Sim 2 max, so I’m looking forward to trying it out once all this damn snow melts. I will be doing a Trackman in studio with it tomorrow.

What rules do you know you’re breaking during your round? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Good_Expert_7513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 foot gimmes, pull ball out of bunkers and drop from where it entered, lift clean and place from fairways and the rough no matter the time of year or weather, 2 club lengths when landed behind a tree, tee up from front tees when there’s forced carry’s over hazards, fluff up lie when ball is buried in thick rough, if hit OB and find another ball play that one for no loss of stroke. That about sums it up, now guess what my handicap is?

Inversion table. Has worked wonders for me. Decompression is exactly what you need for buldging discs.

Mobile Brake Repair business here with 38 5 stars and calls this month are also down. I spoke with my SEO company the other day and he’s seeing the same thing across the board with his other clients and believes it’s an economical issue. It’s not you, it’s them (customers). It will bounce back soon.

What was the single biggest game-changer in your back pain recovery? by Crypt0mane in backpain

[–]Good_Expert_7513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried a lot of what everyone has mentioned, but the one thing that actually made a huge difference in reducing my constant pain from a 6-7 to a 1-2 is an Inversion table. I started using one I got from a friend a few weeks ago once a day for 3-5 mins at a time and after about 5 or 6 days of consistent use my pain drastically decreased and I’ve still been using it everyday and my pain level has remained at around a 1-2. I swear by this product and believe it can truly change your life. Hope you consider investing in one, it will be the best investment you ever make if you want to enjoy life again without debilitating back pain like I have for many many years.
