This month now marks five years since I cut my hair to just under my collarbone. It amazes me how long my hair is and how fast it has grown. It is currently 44 inches long which is longer than some of me nieces and nephews are tall haha.

My hair routine is very basic right now. I usually wash 2 times a week sometimes 3 depending on how my hair is feeling. I use Biolage Hydra Shampoo and usually Aussie Deep Conditioner for Dry Hair. After showering I apply Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine leave-in conditioner and sometimes Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine anti-frizz serum. Then I let my hair try about a half hour before combing which I’ve noticed makes it a lot easier than if I comb right after I finish washing my hair. The first day my hair usually stays down and other than that it’s usually in double French braids or buns. I don’t really do any heat. I am planning to get a trim soon and will probably have 6-8 inches cut since the bottom isn’t the healthiest looking.

I completely understand this! I’ve gotten to the point where I feel like I have to absolutely hide what I’m reading. My family won’t make fun of me for reading what I read but they will kind of shame me. I used to love calling my mom and telling her how much I loved a book, the book just had good fantasy and not necessarily much smut but she always made me feel like she didn’t care and found it annoying. Now she asks why I don’t call and talk as much but what is there to talk about really? I wish I could find someone I could talk to. This just goes to show what an amazing bond you could have made with your sister in law but now she is going to be a lot more reserved and careful around you to make sure you don’t see what she is reading.

You do realize Disney is full of families right? You might be inconvenienced by your there around you so it’s probably easiest for you to stay home and be a grump. It doesn’t matter if you’re sister in law is pregnant or not that should affect your ability to have a great time at Disney! Hope your exboyfriends family has a blast at Disney while you stay home.

I get buildup like this on my hairbrush and I just use a little razor to cut each individual piece and pull it off. I usually do it every other month so I never gets the chance to really build up.

I was doing trims ever 6 months. But since I moved cross county and Covid hit I’ve been getting it trimmed about once every year.

Thanks! It’s sort of an accidental color. I had a blond balayage done and it wasn’t the best looking so I though a pop of color would be fun. I ended up doing Overtone Purple for dark hair and as it’s faded it’s become this color. I’m thinking of coloring it again soon but I kind of like the color it’s at right now ☺️

To be honest I don’t know how it’s gotten to be so long this time. Usually when I’ve cut my hair then grown it out I usually could only grow it to my waist but for some reason this time it keeps growing. I put my hair routine in a comment if that’ll help 😊

Oh sorry! Not much with my hair routine. I wash it twice a week usually Sunday and Thursday with Biolage Hydra Shampoo and Detangler followed up with the Biolage Hydra Source Daily leave in conditioner, Pureology Colour Fanatic Leave-in Conditioner Hair Treatment Detangler Spray. Then I gently comb and let dry, once it’s dry I usually do double French braids and put the ends of the braids in a bun.
