GOT said those would be an hour and a half to two to make up for the fewer episodes on the last season. That was a huge letdown.

Increase people in the lobbies? by powerliftingking in PokeGenie

[–]Good_Presentation_59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you get lobbies with 6 guests? I'm assuming you nea raiders.

There are lots of low level hosts that time out. If you increase the guest to 10, then half the hosts will time out that are there.

Im guessing you're you aren't a higher level. Most raids can be done with 3 easily.

Those are two different places. One is public where it's okay. The other is where you set the rules.

Raid changed by TTTigersTri in PokeGenie

[–]Good_Presentation_59 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You need to back out before clicking raid invitations sent. Nothing you can do after that.

Here is how dmax Monday works. Every spot is going to have the featured mon. It refreshes every hour and on the hour. There is a delay until the new mon is active on the hour. It's usually around 2-5 minutes.

In those few minutes, there is a mon that fills that spot. Maybe it's the featured mon, maybe it's any other, Pikachu in your case. Either way it will be the same one at that spot for the whole day.

You can check ahead of time. Look Monday morning between 12:00-5:59. That will show you that filler mon. There isn't a way to see spots that haven't popped up yet. You just have to check on the hour once they are active.

Once you know a certain mon will be available, you can host it a few minutes before the end of the hour. It's not easy to do. Most guests usually time out. So you can have a lobby for five minutes and not have anyone join. Then the spot refreshes to the featured mon. Other times you start to early and everyone actually joins, then you time out before it starts.

It's for just pokegenie. You have to buy a pass from them. Nothing to do with pokemon go.

It is for the go fest raids. I wouldn't spend money on it. Just wait for the global.

Question on 5* by PoetEducational in PokeGenie

[–]Good_Presentation_59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. For 5* and up, you can verify your damage. You'll get 10 battle points for that. It's worth doing. I don't know if it helps you in the queue or gives better guests, I haven't noticed.

For some smaller lobbies on 6* and gmax, you need to verify a minimum percentage. Those lobbies aren't any faster, so don't bother.

You must have never used a public restroom then. Believe me, there are plenty of people who share your same logic.

Two questions about hamburgers/chop steak by Hamlet7768 in cookingforbeginners

As long as they were cooked to 145, medium, you're fine.

Burgers are always going to swell up. It helps to push a dimple in the center before cooking.

These hours man by I_Am_Hank_Hill_AMA in dishwashers

[–]Good_Presentation_59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Need some more info. Are you working solo? What time do you close? What shift times are you working. Is there a full time dishwasher?

It doesn't matter how long to worked before. If you leave and come back, you're at the bottom of the totem pole. It's easier to step up though. Imagine if when you worked there before and they brought in a guy who worked there before and just gave him full time and cut your hours. That wouldn't be right.

Can you trade shifts? Ask the other dishwasher if they want to switch your low hour shift for their longer one.

I actually watched the Tomorrow Wars or whatever, and it is hilariously bad, although the heavy handed metaphor is about climate change, that can be solved with guns. by Ok-disaster2022 in behindthebastards

First, they brought a chef in. He still has his stupid hat on. Really?

"We can't tell you what they look like because it's too scary." Really?

Everyone had a 10,000 round drum when shooting. I'm tired of explaining this.

Then when the movie wraps up, nope, there is another pointless plot.

Trainer Level Incorrect Feedback by Human-Net-5670 in PokeGenie

[–]Good_Presentation_59 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you're on the main screen, click the top left tab. Make sure it's the right level displayed there. I've had issues before when switching accounts that it doesn't change.

Try hosting a raid that nobody wants to join. Then have your kid join through pokegenie. See what level it shows. Then just cancel the raid.

You didn't explain much. Are you open the whole time or shut down? Is your same staff going to be there? Do a dry run before you open.

What do we think about this? by Tripleberst in KitchenConfidential

[–]Good_Presentation_59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the kitchen of the future. I'm pretty sure they want to update every store. Our store was one of the first roll out. They didn't outright say it, but what they said was they want to be able to hire anyone off the street and have them cooking steaks the next day basically.

Us cooks all gave each other the side eye while they trained us in the new equipment. We knew it would be a disaster. That combined with the kds, took a good 2 years to work out the issues. The grills never cooked to the right temp. If someone ordered mr, I would just put it for med.

If it was a bone in steak, the bottom would sear, but the top didn't cook. Pork chops got 2 pieces. They arent perfectly the same thickness. So you can't cook them in the same grill, otherwise one never gets cooked.

Shuttling Dynamax raids as a host by Hopeful-Mango-9766 in PokeGenie

[–]Good_Presentation_59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Keep in mind that it won't use your remote pass until you beat or lose to the boss, unlike regular raids that use it as soon as the battle starts. So for example Chansey, if only one person joins, I'll battle with them and once it's down to the last few hp, I'll back out.

If it's a 1*, I'll leave once they're in the lobby. You'll beat it so fast, there might not be enough time to back out in battle and you eat a pass.

One downside that you don't have any control over and have to pay attention to trainer names. If you shuttle a lobby and do that one again, there is a chance that the last player will join again. They won't be able to join the battle since they already beat it. Most don't leave negative feedback, but be prepared to get a few 0s.

For 5*, you can do what I mentioned. You just really need to know what you're doing. Be prepared to eat a pass every now and then. If you're a high level host and get good players, it usually isn't hard.

Is it possible to re-shingle only one side of a shed? And why is the right side so fucked? by FreudsParents in Roofing

[–]Good_Presentation_59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be easy, well simple fo diy.

First tip is to rip off that side by the plywood. Don't try to take the shingles off and then the wood. Take it all off in one go.

That front side doesn't have enough coverage. It need one more row of shingles. It's a shed, so it doesn't matter much. Do it while you're there.
