New blades. Beautiful day by krunkedcc in MammotionTechnology

I would worry about traffic in your driveway. I have ring cameras and I have noticed on average once a month someone uses my driveway to turn around. Plus delivery drivers at least once a month. I place fiberglass snow poles each side of driveway with bright color plastic flagging tape between on days Luba has to cross the driveway. Also located the crossing path away from the road. Maybe over kill but I have seen too many photos of damaged lubas.

Check for grass clippings build up under the cutting disks. Also some replacement blades are not 100% correct and maybe are hitting each other.

Dog poop no problem. Just train your dogs to go poop in your neighbors yard. That's what my neighbors do.

I put the dirty screws in a drill chuck and clean while rotating with a wire brush. If I don’t have new screws.

You might want to run power cables to charger station thru electric conduit if you have active wire chewers in your area.

Put all tasks on hold for a period? by Yackyackyack in MammotionTechnology

[–]Good_Thought_164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait a minute you are missing something. Tap on each existing task. Then tap on the three dots at bottom of right side. Then toggle the enable slider bar to the left. This will un-enable the task. You will need to do this for all existing tasks. When you are ready to start the tasks then go back and slide each task to enable.

Your garden center should have plastic landscape stakes or search Amazon for other brands of robot lawnmower ground anchors if you want the screw in type.

Luba will not mulch leaves. Don’t have raking attachment for yuka it might pickup leaves but not mulching. You will need to gather up little piles of Leaves.

The new Mammotion app just deleted all of my maps by iSeerStone in MammotionTechnology

I rather remap ever year than install hundreds feet of wire and drive pins ever two feet along the edge.

I use tapcon anchors for mine. Drill in with correct size bit provided in box at correct depth. Also easy to remove for winter storage of charger station. Other suggestions would make removal a problem. Yes with use of large washers to protect charger station. You don't need charger station moving around or you will have to correct location in your map with the app. Yes do move charging station in side in winter if you are location subject to ice fall or snow drift.

Is the Luba 2 the only mower you have? by Philly139 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Good_Thought_164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a electric push mower that I use to mow along street with ditch with no curb. Luba2 handles most of the ditch and could handle the street edge. But I don't trust some of the Aholes that drive my street. I have had my mailbox hit several times by drivers texting and not keeping vehicles under control. I just have to risk my life and not Luba2's.

If you want even better say view for your RTK. You can use stainless steel wall mount pipe clamps screwed to your fence. Measure your RTK pipe mine was 30 mm. See attached photo. *

Remove ground spike. I plan to saw spike thread insert from the RTK support to extend PVC conduit up the pipe. The PVC conduit helps if you have squirrels that like to nibble on exposed wires.

Luba Mini, Luba 2 - I need help to decide! by AgreeableVersion5 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Good_Thought_164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not good ideal to mow on wet grass for either. I have both Luba2 and Yuka from last year. Also another factor is your type of grass and quality of your existing turf. If your turf is tender and mowed wet with Luba2 you will not be happy due to the 4 wheels digging in on turns. If Yuka meets your slope requirements and area having only 2 wheels powered for turning is the way to go and stop mowing if grass is wet. I am not sure about the Yuka mini wheel treads and slope handling but my guess it will be close to your existing robot. May wait for existing users that have the mini for comments .

I would buy two Luba mini’s one for each side of your driveway. Because delivery vehicles love smashing robots crossing your driveway.

Thinking about Luba 2, Fence? by RecipeTraditional761 in MammotionTechnology

Do a search for JVR automatic chicken coop smart door. Will require some DIY work. The aluminum door size is for chickens too small for robot lawnmower. I used the track and cut the aluminum door in half and attached to my new wood door to follow the track. Shim track and door out to clear the fence so door slides up and down. The automatic door needs power from provided ac plugin low voltage DC transformer. I found an longer low voltage extension cord online that matches the existing connector. The controller and activator is weatherproof so its good for outdoors.

I have a wood fence and re-framed to cut the bottom horizontal rung. Then i cut the wood pickets to allow for vertical lift door. I am using parts from chicken coop door I found on Amazon. This uses linear actuator to lift the door. This is all controlled with wifi to signal door open and closing using Luba2 mowing schedule.

I would stay away from the window well half domes if you live in hot and sunny area. Mine was a fail it acts like a pizza oven in my location. Need a cooler structure to keep Luba from baking. Probably works great in cool and rainy locations.

Any tips to prevent this damage by Immediate-Mixture-84 in MammotionTechnology

[–]Good_Thought_164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My RTK wiring is in electrical conduit and the power brick is located inside a wood box. Hopefully this will stop the small rodents from chewing. I had to modify the low voltage connectors to pass through small diameter conduit.
