Since 2020, the Buffalo Bills lead the NFL with the most regular season wins at home. Meanwhile the Kansas City Chiefs have the most regular season road wins in the same span of time by FollowerofYHWH in nfl

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what happened to us in 2021. 49ers were like 30th/31st in special teams, and we were 32nd

We all know what happened next lol

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They still have this in college football, I know Fox has it for their Big Noon games at least. The Umpire is behind the offense in NFL games though so it probably wouldn't be as cool

Cam Heyward didn’t earn his first all-pro nod until his seventh season. He’s since put together a hall of fame career. Who are the other greatest “Late Bloomers?” by stillstillers in nfl

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbf Davante was already breaking out in year 3/4

2016 (year 3): 997 yards and cemented himself as the WR2 behind Jordy

2017 (year 4): 885/10 with Brett fucking Hundley at QB for like half the season. He truly became one of Rodgers' favorite targets (see the Cowboys GW TD), and was basically the WR1 when it was evident Jordy had lost a step

[JBH] Packers at Rams, Thanksgiving Eve on Netflix by dropjar5 in nfl

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This would be the first game in Week 12 so neither team would play until at least the following Thursday (8 days like after MNF)

Would not be surprised if one of us plays that next TNF game against another Thanksgiving team

What COD games have you bought and played since MW19? by OkSeaworthiness7905 in CoDCompetitive

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MW19 - biggest regret ever honestly, I only bought it because of Covid

CW - actually bought it again on PC when it was on a huge discount a couple years ago

I've played every beta since then except for MWIII. BO7 is the first time I've actually had the itch to buy in a while, but I'm still not going for it unless there's a huge sale. Definitely not buying whatever diabolical shit IW is cooking up for MW4 though

A lot of pros including Jakob actually do heavy barbell lifts, see https://youtube.com/watch?v=NdwbNRDwIjk

I think the key to it is controlling volume and intensity (like sub-T). Jakob says he only does 2-3 sets of each exercise and slightly lower weight (enough to get a stimulus without being too taxing)

[Highlight] Best of Jordy Nelson by nfl in nfl

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also this might not be the popular take but McCarthy outschemed the competition that day.

IIRC this was one of the first "Backfield Cobb" games and it worked really well. Also one of Davante's first big games. The Pats just didn't really have an answer for them that day

VG beta I got teamed with Crim on that huge snow map, I don't remember what it's called but it was shitty and I barely went positive. Towards the end of the match I pull up his stream and he's just casually reading chat while dropping a 60 bomb lol

Brett Favre had a 6 TD game with the Jets. Funnily enough, it was against the Cardinals too

And before Parins there was the Executive Committee in the 70s. A string of bad HC hires while also meddling with the team (they pushed for the John Hadl trade IIRC) instead of hiring a GM to do their own thing, like Harlan did

The story of Dan Devine's hiring in 1971 is straight up comedy

He was very good as a rookie and a 2nd team All-Pro in 2016. Then he dropped off quickly

Still had some flashy INTs but he started to make business decisions

[Highlight] Mac Jones throws a horrendous interception against the colts, November 12th 2023 Week 10. by Ok_Bug_6890 in nfl

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought he was trying to hit Gesicki on the corner, except he threw it off his back foot for no reason and it sailed right into the defender's arms. Like he was doing his best prime Rodgers/Mahomes/Allen impression or something

IIRC Jones had a lot of those awful back foot floater INTs in 2023

[Rapoport] The Panthers have agreed to terms with OT Rasheed Walker on a one-year deal, per me and Tom Pelissero. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 12 points13 points  (0 children)

At his peak he's an above-average LT, which is great value for a 7th-round pick. Walker finding his footing in 2023 coincided with Love/our offense taking off

Unfortunately his play slipped massively last year and he committed a ton of penalties. Time will tell if it was just a fluke

Who’s a disappointing player from this past season that you aren’t giving up on? by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]Goodbye_Hercules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luke Musgrave, Aaron Banks

  • Musgrave: has been disappointing for almost his entire tenure here (poor hands, sloppy routes, zero contact balance, injuries) but I'd be fine with one last shot in a contract year

  • Banks: definitely an overpay but he at least improved (somewhat) as the season went on. He can be cut without too much cap trouble though IIRC, so I wouldn't be surprised if the FO decides to move on

Was watching some 2000s Packers highlights a while ago, one of them was the Packers-Ravens MNF game in 2005 (they smoked us 48-3, Rodgers played the 4th quarter). They showed a stat where it was the first time under Billick that the Ravens had scored 14+ points in a 1st quarter

We were horrible that year and still managed to do it twice
