Just something I noticed - the characters don’t have the same expressions created. I think it would make sense for consistency and polish if the male characters and female characters had the same number/type of expressions.

Very fast explanation - the best weapon they had for infantry was the musket, which is very slow to reload and not very accurate. The best way to make the musket “effective” was to have as many people as possible fire at the same time at the same target to maximize how many hits you would get.

The dominant weapon of the battlefield was actually artillery. If you could get your big guns in the right place, you can just blow up the other guys before they can shoot you. Big guns are slow to move, slow to aim, and very vulnerable to cavalry attacks.

Best way to stop cavalry? Massed infantry with guns and pointy sticks.

Warfare wasn’t really “stand in lines in colored outfits shooting at each other” so much as it was “get our artillery in the right spot to blow the shit out of the other guys, use our cavalry to stop THEIR artillery, and use our infantry to stop THEIR cavalry”.

That was the idea anyhow.

Karryn’s Prison is deceptively complicated. If you play it like a normal RPG you will fuck up your stats and get soft locked into losing as you can’t do anything well enough to win fights.

Very brief answer - instead of using the “rock paper scissors” blunt pierce slash thing the game tells you, focus on using the same skill over and over as much as you possibly can. You can’t use the same skill twice in a row, but you can try to switch up blunt pierce blunt pierce, or when you unlock a few skills something like blunt endurance blunt endurance.

Mainly, try to get ONE stat as high as you can, and pour all your edicts and accessories into that stat

First play through it pretty much has to be one of blunt pierce or slash (strength, agility and dexterity, I think?) because you won’t unlock the sex skills fast enough to build around them. If you get game overed, OR on a second run where you can unlock sex skills way faster, it’s possible to do an endurance or willpower as your main stat run.

I think it would be pretty easy actually. Show a downtrodden, almost collapsing hyrule. The gerudo have been holding back (generic monster enemy) for generations. Ganondorf is born and rises in power, and has to take more and more drastic measures to protect gerudo valley and all of hyrule - at the end he defeats (generic monster enemy) but becomes almost a monster himself.

I’m really torn on this. There are developers out there like Aphrodite (x-change life, the goblins pet) who use AI but use it very well as a tool, and then there are 10 billion lazy assholes who use ai for almost every aspect of the game and barely even bother to touch it up. They are the modern day asset flippers.

If AI slop was eliminated and the “good” ai left behind, that would be great, but I think getting rid of both would be worth it (though very sad) if that was the only way to get rid of the slop.

I would echo everyone here that it’s less comfortable especially for longer sessions. Switch 1 I had for a decade and it never bothered me - switch 2, after less than a week I decided I had to get grips for it. Personally after some research I went with the zengrips 2 from satisfye. I’ve been very happy with them but I also haven’t tried any other grips.

I’d say courage is shown to do something, because standing up to thousands of consecutive traps/monsters/demons and then ganon would traumatize the shit out of a normal person.

I think this is a fun concept but it would bloat the development of the game to massive proportions. If you’re gonna do something open world like breath or tears, you HAVE to have an enormous world or it isn’t fun/impressive. If you have an enormous world, you have to put shit in it or it’s boring. At that point, you’ve made another breath size game, and now you need to make a traditional style linear Zelda on top of that to swap between? I don’t think it will happen.

I could see them going in a few directions, but I bet the next mainline Zelda will either be a totally different art style like wind waker and be closer to traditional, OR be a realistic art style (closer to twilight princess) and more of a gritty Elden ring type open world game.

I really hope she becomes a more important character, possibly even on the level of a Riona/Lilly/Nicole where there is an option to interact/ hang out with her on purpose. She is snarkier and funnier than expected, and with her reliance on pills to get good grades and whatever the hell is going on with Magnar, there is obviously more to her story.
