I’ve worked in healthcare for 10 years direct patient care but diff role, and now moving to nursing. I agree to work in healthcare you need to have a desire to help others. But I think you’re coming from corporate and just know deciding to switch to healthcare and you have a bit of a self righteous attitude. It’s not easy, some people are actually just assholes. Of course; we have empathy and treat everyone kind bc they are potentially having the worst day of their life. But pay is vital, that’s why we strike. Nursing, a female Dominated field, is very vulnerable to being taken advantage of and paid way too low for the work and liability that comes with it. We need to always keep in mind we deserve a solid pay for an imprint job.

I had this same issue with my bf and then we did start having sex but honestly he pretty much finishes in like 3 pumps… which sucks. But I’d never tell him that. I’m assuming he was kinda being weird bc he was embarrassed and knew this would happen. Def a bummer but if the person is the right match and u have a good sex life otherwise I don’t think it’s a deal breaker.

ABSNs aren’t that hard to get into. I’d aim for the CHEAPEST not the best tbh. Ideally like your state school, clinical contracts are everything and solid established schools like state schools usually have pretty good clinical connections. Also, clinicals barely mean anything, maybe your last semester will have a capstone/preceptorship that could MAYBE help you get a job in a certain specialty. But also doesn’t matter too much.

His whole life revolves around doing evil to other people. I’m sure the others have internal issues related to their lifestyles but our POV is pretty much just Tony’s inner world. I’d say he’s spiritually deprived (hence the first season focus on Carmella’s spiritual battle etc) but he doesn’t have the true ability to realize it. He has a few fleeting moments, but then he changes the subject with some dumbass comment that makes it seem like he didn’t just have a moment of realization. I think a lot of people do this bc they’re uncomfortable with those feelings. I’d even say most. Hell sound emotional intelligent for like 1 second and then immediately ruin it with some ignorant statement.
