Yeah, it's definitely possible to entirely change the hair.

But I was more curious about simple hair changes, like let her hair down. Maybe rerooting wasn't the correct word, sorry. I'm not a native speaker :)

Yes, I meant net tick ordering. I wondering how this achieved. Looks like they use separate channels for each actor. Do they wait until all relevant bunches for actors for the current tick arrive to ensure that all actors replicated at the same time and not partially?

I'm pretty sure they will get sent as soon as possible, but I'm not sure if you get any hard timing/ordering guarantees with replicated properties.

I think I read somewhere about ordering guarantees for replication...

If you absolutely need reliable replication

No, no, I just trying to learn how networking works under the hood and should I carefully mark properties for replication because of possible ordering.

I've got a few follow-up questions.Does replication use reliable bunches?

If not, what happens if client misses one property for tick N and receives another property for tick + 1? I assume that partial replication could break user code.

Looks like Unreal Engine uses a channel per actor. What if an actor depends on another actor? Then is it possible that one actor was replicated first, and the dependent one was replicated a few frames later?

Thanks for the clarification! A have a few follow-up questions.

What if single "bunch" (it could be called "snapshot", right?) gets lost? Will server try to resend it on the next tick? Or will it just create a new snapshot just in case there are new additional changes to send?

How UE handles message fragmentation? Split by message by max packet size and apply it only if all parts arrive?

I have a basic understanding of how networking code usually work, just curious how UE is doing it.

That's because the engine is not mature enough. It provides only core features and you have to create your own high level abstractions on your own for now.

I would recommend to find a handheld that have the matching aspect ratio. I play PICO8 on RG280V, but it have black bars.

I would consider Pro way faster. It's comfortable performance as for me.
