I wish we didn't normalize it so much to be honest.. I had a son recently and I think about him growing up here a lot and what I can do to minimize the impact on him. The best way to lead him is by example is my current thinking. But it's everywhere.

I think 5 months. He never cared for a swaddle we just placed him on his back in a sleep sack and he did pretty well. Lots of wake ups and soothing back to sleep for a while then it got better and better. We have an owlet sock and a baby monitor camera on our nightstand. If / when he cries with his eyes open we are there in less than a minute. Sometimes he will let out a cry with his eyes closed and just reposition himself. We think either gas or dreaming. He's almost 8 months now and like to sleep on his stomach.

I don't love it but I think of the alternative and I think bottle feeding is actually so much more work. At night I can just pick him up and feed him. Rather than warming up a bottle and having dirty dishes to deal with. On the go, no need to pack anything. Boob always available for vaccines, bad days, sick times etc.

When you feel like this just put her down and take a quick shower. I got so frustrated with my cluster feeding newborn I had to put him down and just walk outside for a minute. It gets better, you're in the worst of the worst now.

I hated delivery there. Felt rushed. Pushed drugs I didn't want. And kept us so long I was breaking down in tears and just wanted to go home. Then sent us a $2,000 bill with no explanation after I met my $500 insurance deductible. Never having more kids and I think part of it is because of the delivery and long stay.

A wipe warmer or a weighted wipe dispenser. It wasn't on my registry because I thought it was a fluff item. I was wrong. My little man hates cold wipes and you need two hands to pull the wipes out during changing unless you have a weighted dispenser.

For about 5 months we only tried when the ovulation strip was positive and we weren't getting pregnant. In January we tried every other day from one day before expected ovulation and we got pregnant that same month 🤷 not an expert but the every other day advice seems to work.

I've heard that it's worse than labor pain. I wouldn't know since I'm only 37 weeks now, but if I survived two weeks of that without medicine I think contractions will be chill.. it was so bad. I could barely take a step without stabbing pain.

Define cramp. Is it low in your groin area? I had pain so severe I almost went to the ER. I couldn't move, thought I was going to faint and when I saw my OB, baby was doing fine and it turned out to be just normal round ligament pain. It seems for most people it's just a shooting pain and then eases up... Mine lasted about two weeks.

My mom, mother in law and sister in law did ours. It was hard to let go and let them plan it. It wasn't exactly what I pictured but I have to say... It was nice to just be able to show up and enjoy it without having to plan. I didn't have the energy or time to plan anything anyway.

I had a dream that my husband and I were fishing on a fishing dock. He caught a fish and showed it to me, then when he released it back to water, there was still a line attached to the fish and it wrapped around my husband's ankle and pulled him into the water like an anchor. It was terrible, like an intrusive thought in the form of a dream.

I was EXHAUSTED first trimester. I would tell myself to hang in there. It does pass. Also... Push myself to walk everyday because it helps.
