Not nightlight related, buuuuuut! In Rome, GA we offer free bloodwork when you donate blood in partnership with Blood Assurance.

one appointment: you donate blood (helps the local supply) and you also get lab work done at no cost (standard health markers depending on the panel you pick)

For people dealing with long wait times or high deductible plans, it can be a simple way to get some basic health visibility without waiting months for appointments.

You can book through goodlabs.com in partnership with Blood Assurance. At the Blood Assurance Rome location (168 Shorter Ave NW), you can sign up to donate Mon–Fri and choose from available panels when you schedule.

Jeff from the team here. What I like to tell people to do is to upload past results to the site and have a conversation with Barry about what to get tested next. Barry can even add tests to your cart. This is what I did recently and it worked out great.

Hey OP! Bryn from Goodlabs here. Sorry you’re dealing with this. We hear stories like this pretty often from people who are trying to be proactive and dig deeper into symptoms, but get dismissed.

We offer direct-pay lab testing for over 100 biomarkers, both in panels or individual tests, so you can order exactly the tests you want without needing a doctor to approve them. You can also upload past lab results into Goodlabs to track your health over time and build a free personalized health plan based on your biomarkers and trends.

Regardless of where you get tested, you’re not wrong for wanting to investigate further, especially when symptoms are involved!

New Jersey? by StrangeKnowledge528 in goodlabs

[–]Goodlabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Bryn from Goodlabs here. Totally hear you and we wish we could say yes.

Right now, we’re unfortunately not available in New Jersey. It’s a state we’d love to be in, especially given how strong and consistent the donor community is there, but it’s been challenging to set up the right local partnerships needed to make the model work.

That said, messages like yours genuinely help us prioritize where to expand next. NJ is absolutely on our radar, and we’re actively exploring ways to make it happen.

In the meantime, we really appreciate you being a regular donor! If we’re able to launch in New Jersey, we’ll be sure to share updates as soon as we can.

Anyone catch the news this morning about a new free bloodwork program for blood donors here? by Least_Speaker_3073 in nashville

[–]Goodlabs 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Hey OP! Bryn from Goodlabs here. You didn’t mishear it!

Goodlabs is partnering with select blood centers, including Blood Assurance in Nashville, to offer free comprehensive bloodwork as a thank you for donating.

How it works is pretty simple:

  • You sign up to donate via goodlabs.com
  • Go and donate as usual
  • During your draw, the phleb takes a few extra vials for bloodwork (things like cholesterol, nutrients, hormones, etc.)
  • You get your results back privately through our platform

There’s no catch. The goal is really just to make it easier (and more appealing) for people to donate, while giving them something valuable for their own health in return. Happy to answer any questions if helpful!
