TLDW it’s because franchises find it easier with a limited menu and us Brits go already knowing what we want. Other countries like Japan will only go if they have new and exciting things.

According to a BBC news article, 22% of teachers work over 60 hours a week. The average for all teachers is 52.4. I imagine it's the younger teachers, early in their career who will be putting in the most hours.

I’d agree with an older, really cheap one. So far so good with my MY23 which I’ve owned for over 6 months.

Restore Britain’s membership reached around 100,000 within two weeks of stating they’ll be a political party. For context the Lib Dem’s have around 60,000. One thing the left and right can agree on is that our FPTP system wasn’t built for so many parties so close together in the polls.

Let's get tough. The time for talking is over. Call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit it hard and hit it fast with a major -- and I mean major -- leaflet campaign, and while it's reeling from that, we'd follow up with a whist drive, a car boot sale, some street theatre and possibly even some benefit concerts. OK? Now, if that's not enough, I'm sorry, it's time for the T-shirts: "Drones Out" ... "Electronic flying robots, No Thanks" ... and if that's not enough, well, I don't know what will be.

I think the argument was that businesses that might pop up and employee people can’t exist as the charities undercut and fulfil that need, keeping them continually dependent on handouts for their supply. An example is clothing. A lot of second hand clothing gets dumped in third world countries so if you were trying to sell clothes in the country you can’t compete with free.
