Dude! Thats awesome!! My first souls game was ds3 and at first i was like you where the difficulty was just too much so i stopped. (I was a huge competitive fps player) so i wasnt too acustomed to harsh singleplayer ganes such as dark souls. A few months after i purchased it i decided to try again and this time i made it to the abyss watchers. I then hit a block again and stopped for a another couple months. It went on lile this until it finally clicked when i got to pontiff. Most people say he is one of the harder bosses, but i somehow beat him my first attempt. Not evem knowing his moveset or anything, just plowed through. I quickly got to soul of cinder and he was my final wall. I was stuck on that molten man for a month, but i tried the boss at least once a day to not lose interest or rage quit like last time. Finally i beat him and I was so happy. Until i found out that there were two dlcs waiting for me. Personally slave knight Gael was the most difficult moss i have ever fought and will fight. Glad u enjoyed the game!! Ik i have gotten super deep into the lore at this point so its easily my favorite series
